Icons in the tray of the closed programs doesn't get cleaned up in windows 7

First of all I beg your apology for not responding, As you must be knowing I'm the second in "mousering", it is because my internet account sometimes goes for holidays for days....

Now if possible I'd also like to set the closing duration of the sub program after the main program

Thanks

The problem is not that it starts, although it is but it starts and asks as soon as that do you want to kill...
Sorry but I couldn't make it to work.

@MilesAhead, Here is the feedback for your app Run Group (Im Facing Problems)
First Time when I run, it asks for an ini file (as you said) Ok so it quits
then when it creates an ini file and when entered the data and executed the program, it runs them and although the process is running it pops up a dialog saying "Kill C:\.......",
Totally Not working"
Here what I've done
1) Downloaded and unzipped the RunGroup in a folder and executed it for the first time, said the error msg.
2) edit the ini created by the program and executed, but result as above said

attached here with the ini

Sorry Guys, bad on my part, actually I was Disconnected from my Internet Account, as there is a digging work going on in our area...
@Skwire, I'd be very glad for the AHK script which I can adjust and modify....
Please Looking forward

I am looking for a utility (ahk script is fine) which sits in the background and waits until a certain program is started, and then exited (checking every second or two).  when the program exists after running, it should check for a list of programs i specify that might also still be left running, and offer to close them.

As an example:
When i run and then exit firefox, i want the utility to check if my standalone downloader application is still running, and if so, offer to close it.

A humble request to awopbamboo is that make the first post always updates with your program, so that dumb people like me don't download the old version.

Forget it if you felt wrong.
BTW Nice Program

Perhaps you want to upgrade your antivirus solution to one that Doesn't SuckTM? False positives is a pretty well-known problem with AutoHotKey generated executables.
Sir, I beg to differ, Same case with me with Avast AV, but the language which he has used was not acceptable.
surprisingly it doesn't happen with any other AHK or EXE downloaded from here.

Ok guys, Avast was also giving warnings and didn't allow me to even download it, but i disabled the whole AV and downloaded as it was from a trusted Source i.e. DC, but again after downloading it didn't allow me to run, again disabled and executed but it does nothing on my windows 7 OS.

I think the author has to really see into this...

General Software Discussion / Re: Win7: Anyone else getting excited?
« on: October 01, 2009, 05:13 AM »
Friends,
Late on the wagon here but using windows 7 since october 2008 as the Main OS (I know it sounds crazy), In the beginning it used to crash, as with any other Pre-Beta (Alpha) releases, but now it is rock solid and no regrets.
Using it on 2 years old Laptop and on quadcore where drivers are not available for XP.
Quadcore is of very high config and new so it runs easily but Laptop has
Intel Celeron 1.8 Ghz with on board graphics, 1.5 GB DDR2 RAM, 250GB SATA2 HDD, Intel 965 Series MoBo
and I never regret using it, it detects all my drivers automatically after installation, I've really tried badly to install XP and I was able to install it but Drivers were never available, 1 or other always missing...
Previous to this I had Vista X86
Now Im on windows 7 X86 RTM and am happy with it.
Thank you for reading this...

Yeh, I think so, but still will have to see after Windows 7 goes GA (General Availability) on October 22 2009, but the ray of hope is very light, any other windows 7 users here using it or having the same problem...

Friends,
Starting here a discussion whether anyone has combined 2 or more DC codes to work together and if yes then they can post it here for the benefit of others
Let me post the first I don't know whether it'll be useful for you or not but sometimes it is for me....(Mainly for Laptop users)

Here i have taken Skrommel's BatteryRun and Skwire's PowerschemeToggler

So now the BatteryRun toggles my PowerScheme whenever the power goes off and if it is running....
Thought might help someone...

How can it be achieved...
1) Download both codes and keep the PowerSchemeToggler in the same folder of BatteryRun and run it.
2) Set your desired Powerschemes, make it for example 1)PowerSaveer 2)High Performance.
3) Run cmd window and open the BatteryRun Folder to run BatteryRun.exe
4) Type exact command given here... Suppose you have BatteryRun.exe in C:\user\batteryrun then
    C:\user\BatteryRun>batteryrun.exe "powerschemetoggler.exe -toggle" "powerschemetoggler.exe -toggle"
5) -toggle is the command with powerschemetoggler.exe to toggle powerschemes, you can generate a shortcut from the main program to toggle
if you don't want to use it with BatteryRun.

If any other user has come across combining 2 DC utilities or Codes, Kindly post them here for others...
Hope you Enjoy!!!
Thanking you all for bearing with me and reading this post until the end.

« on: September 29, 2009, 05:11 AM »
Touch type, Alhtough I cannot type with more than 4 fingers but still I experienced the importance of it, my elder brother is a 10 Finger Blind typist (He doesn't need to look the keyboard)

General Software Discussion / Re: What is your preferred font?
« on: September 29, 2009, 04:54 AM »
Thread Not for me, Better I leave, Not much on Fonts but when I design Magazine Pages sometimes, then I like Fancy Callipgraphy Fonts in the header... That's the only time when I need to select fonts otherwise I go with default fonts in browsers, in OS explorer and yes I do like Callibri, Arial and Times New Roman... But again I like Segoe Print & Brush Script MT

I search fonts in Font Navigator by seeing the samples and not by names.. (sorry Dumb of me I don't remember them)

my humble suggestion would be Virtual OS and logging it from there as suggested by some members.
Booting from Linux and surfing is also a good option but little painful (But if you are paranoid about your security then OK)

   Excellent!!! Marvelous!!! Outstanding  (This is already said in the above post) Sorry I don't have more words, Only read the heading and matter on this page (Still not gone to the links, due to lack of time) but could not stop appreciating the work...

@Mouser How do you find time to do all this work from you tight schedule?
