To send a text file named "mymessage.txt" as the body of the message to joe@email1.com, you'd do something like this:
blat.exe mymessage.txt -to joe@email1.com -from hulkbuster@myemail.com -subject "This is an email" -server smtp-server.location.rr.com -u hulkbuster@myemail.com -pw hulkbusterpassword -debug
The -u and -pw options might be needed for authentication; your ISP would want to make sure you have an account. The -debug option should show you the conversation between Blat and your ISP, which can be extremely useful for troubleshooting. I just used the Roadrunner server name pattern for this example.

Is this process of correct first to install:
[copy or print]
Blat -install <server addr> <sender's addr> [<try>[<port>[<profile>]]]
Blat -install smtp.gmail.com myadd@gmail.com 2 587 hulk

Sending an email:

[copy or print]
Blat -install <server addr> <sender's addr> [<try>[<port>[<profile>]]]
blat.exe mymessage.txt -to joe@email1.com -from hulkbuster@myemail.com -subject "This is an email" -server smtp-server.location.rr.com -u hulkbuster@myemail.com -pw hulkbusterpassword -debug
or
blat.exe c:\a.txt -to joe@email1.com -from hulkbuster@myemail.com -subject "This is an email" -server smtp-server.location.rr.com -u hulkbuster@myemail.com -pw hulkbusterpassword -debug

Hello so their were two versions of this program i.e.,
1:SendEmail TLS supported
2:SendEmail No TLS support

For TLS support the command i gave was:
[copy or print]
SendEmail -f urname@gmail.com -t receiver@yahoo.com -s smtp.gmail.com:587 -xu urname@gmail.com.com -xp xxxxx -u "Hello their" -m "How are you." -o tls=yes
The error message i got was " SMTP-AUTH: Authentication to smtp.gmail.com:587 failed. "

For No TLS support :
[copy or print]
SendEmail -f urname@gmail.com -t receiver@yahoo.com -s smtp.gmail.com:587 -xu urname@gmail.com.com -xp xxxxx -u "Hello their" -m "Hello there." -o tls=no
The error message i got was" Authentication not supported by the remote SMTP server!
Must issue a STARTTLS command first. gn3sm4344660pbc.32 - gsmtp"

I don't understand what i am doing wrong.
Has anyone tried it, it would prove really useful to have a command based email support.
This was really confusing , there is no sendmail.exe file that could relay the commands:
[copy or print]
mailsend.exe -to %1 -from %2 -sub "test from windows" -starttls -port 587 -auth -smtp smtp.gmail.com -user "%2" -pass %SMTP_USER_PASS% -M "hello one liner" -log "c:\Users\mqt\Downloads\m.log"
Sorry i had downloaded the unix version, but after using the windows version as well, it doens't work.

Blat really was tricky, having one to install all the profile and still not able to work with the commands.
Any suggestion would be great.

Thank you.

For the first link: An Email Program for Sending SMTP Mail from a Command Line An Email Program for Sending SMTP Mail from a Command Line
The commands were:

SendEmail -f urname@gmail.com -t receiver@yahoo.com -s "SERVER[:PORT] (If using gmail, -s smtp.gmail.com:587)" -xu "urname@gmail.com" -xp "password" -u "Hello their" -m "How are you."

This is how it would look:
SendEmail -f urname@gmail.com -t receiver@yahoo.com -s smtp.gmail.com:587 -xu urname@gmail.com.com -xp xxxxx -u "Hello their" -m "How are you."

But i am getting an error
[copy or print]
Authentication not supported by the remote SMTP server!

Must issue a STARTTLS command first. o7sm20727708eew.25 - gsmtp
Checking more on Blat.

This might be more interesting: http://caspian.dotconf.ne.../menu/Software/SendEmail/

Basic use would be:
sendEmail -f <your email address> -t <receiver mail adress(es)> -u <preferred subject> -m <message you want to send> -s <name or IP from your mail server(: optional port)>

or if this is more clear:
sendEmail -f me@hulkbuster.com -t info@messagereceiver.com -u "My first message" -m "Hello world" -s internal.mail.server

There are lots more options, the included help is quite clear.

No mate , its not working. I follow ur cmdline. I want to mail using my gmail account to a yahoo account.
The homepage doesn't provide enough material to comprehend.

Hello, i didn't want to start a thread, i just want some info on Total Commander.
I am giving it a shot. It all feels good and ok.
I am not getting a hands on its Multi-renaming tool (Usually opens after Ctrl + M).
Before i used to use Bulk-Renamer, which does a very good job.
Thought of using TC, default Renaming tool.

I followed some tips from here Rename with Total Commander., but i am not getting a hang of this tip.
9  Main Area and Open Discussion / General Software Discussion / Re: Do i perform L.L.F. ? on: January 11, 2014, 10:28:00 PM
Thank you all for replying to this post , i learnt few critical things about HDD with sector error. Most suggested with a replacement, i guess i'll nuke the disk and then see how it goes. If doing that makes the HDD unobtrusive in functionality, then its all good, if not then i would revert to replacement with another Disk. Its not too easy in the pocket from where i come from.
Thank you all for your suggestion, i needed that. Please do so, it saved hundred of hours loathing over this problem.

10  Main Area and Open Discussion / General Software Discussion / Do i perform L.L.F. ? on: January 11, 2014, 06:48:24 AM
Hello, i have some problem with my PC's H.D.D, i had 3/4 sector errors because one of my friend used some Defrag tool to Defragment the Disc, so on the process he did something wrong, which showed some sector error.
I am using Drevitalize 2.4.2 to remove the sector errors , which it did, and over time, the sector kept popping, to 6/8/12 sector errors.
So, i am in a loop, my P.c is only a year old, and it used to perform nicely, but this H.D.D problem is being noticebly dominant. Like slow access to any partition, and it takes a little time to respond, if i click to any partition.
So i plan to perform a Low Level Format, i heard cases where everything failed regarding removing the sector error, L.L.F. excel , since it is only writing 0's and 1's, i don't know if i.m. right.
Cam someone suggest any thing better or avoid L.L.F. I am in a limbo, no way out.

Any suggestion is welcomed

OK. the problem with Alt+DC went off, my settings in Filetype/All file and folder/edit
Alt+DC has not been defined, that did it.
But still feels heavy.

^glad you like Qdir - possibly it's not listed here because it uses Windows Explorer.

I used Directory Opus for few months, didn't like the way other properties of a single shortcut or file got slowed down (while closing).
-
dont know what that's about - it's not a method I use to open properties (Alt+double-click) but I tried it and it works absolutely fine here (Win7 X64). Does that even have to do with Dopus? (I mean: did the problem go away after Dopus uninstall?)
Yes the problem vanished after uninstalling Dopus, a 64 bit machine would perform quicker and faster in those Dept. For a 32 bit i'll stick with plain and simple Q-Dir, yeah it doesn't have those bells and whistles, but i prefer functionality, than those high end complicated and also functional Dopus. I'll will stick with Dopus if i had a 64 bit pc.

I used Directory Opus for few months, didn't like the way other properties of a single shortcut or file got slowed down (while closing) , Total Commander : never could get the hang of this tool.
[copy or print]
Open Dopus, and click the Alt+double click on any shortcut link in the desktop, after the popup close the properties window box. Notice how slowly it closes. [Whats that]
But now i am happily using Q-Dir, which is a surprise, its not mentioned in the Poll.
Download Q-Dir here: Its free.

19  Main Area and Open Discussion / General Software Discussion / Re: wont boot normally! on: October 01, 2013, 03:51:54 AM
Tell us more -- are you saying it boots successfully it just takes a long time?

Yeah that's the problem.  It boots but takes a longer time.
I tried booting in safe mode , on both the OS's: which it does. I tried chkdsk from xp recovery disc

Since I do not use Antivirus, I rely solely on virtualization amd restoration of the images.  This problem is un-understandable, I m tired of restoring, few problem should have fewer solutions for. Also before this I got a lot of BSOD's .

As of now, only other thing I can think is of the graphic card, being loose.

Hello,  if someone can help me here regarding computer start up. This happened just today:
I m using Winxp, and I had restored an xp image 2 days back.
But today I am experiencing the lag in normal boot times.  The normal boot time ws 4/5 minutes: but now it has extended to 10/11 minutes and more

I m on a dual boot, (xp/7) but I use xp more
I think it is a hardware issue. The problem is effecting two Os. Which is strange

Any suggestions welcome.

Yeah that is the other option i had in my mind, but the reason behind downloading the swf video was to take some snapshot of the clips as it played.
Some action are pretty cool. If you know what i mean.

23  Main Area and Open Discussion / General Software Discussion / Can someone extract these swf files. on: September 01, 2013, 03:06:55 AM
Hello folks,
i want to request to anyone who is very good at extracting swf file that is being played at the browser. Although i have downloaded couple of swf files by viewing the Page source and copy/paste the link to a new browser and ( save the page as): seems to do the trick. But some swf video file seems to be encrypted. Like when i do the procedure mentioned above it downloads the swf video file, but when i dis-connect the net and try to play the swf video it say its stolen and refuses to play further and redirects a user to its website.

Here is one link: its a STICK VIDEO, hope you know the STICK character.
THE STICK VIDEO CASTLESERIES
I have managed to download this swf video but it says, its STOLEN, can anyone know the process to extract the clean swf file.
