I'm still fuzzy on what you are doing.
I'm familiar with the NCH audio SDK, and I understand their methodology. They're very much into broad usage.
If I'm reading you right, you should be able to do all of that in the NCH software that you are using already. You just need to adjust the timeline.
Check their documentation. I checked, and that software you are using can do video.
Basically, you should only need to insert what you want in the time line.
Most DAW and NLE software works very similarly. I wrote my own software to work similar to a lot of DAW software.
I have already completed the presentation, all i want now is to insert another video with small effects before the slideshow starts.
I am taking a look on some NLE Softwares.

@40hz: yeah i think people half here hasn't understood what i meant. But i'll try elsewhere.
@Renegade: i am using NCH PhotoStage Slideshow Producer Professional v2.52, this slideshow application can add videos, music and images in its timeline and sync them to the slider position or anywhere i choose, its a little versatile tool. I found it useful to my need.

I tried my hand at Adobe Flash Professional CS5 , and i had to learn a lot of of smorgasbord of information which was a turn off for me. Lot of learning curve required, although it could creat a swf video and simple vector art movies to my interest but its output was just limited to swf file.
NCH PhotoStage Slideshow can create the finished project to avi, mp4 ,fla for youtube or make a DVD movie.
I already completed my presentation and i wanted to add a little video effect before the slideshow begins to make it professional and  factual.
Thinking now, i just want a small and simple video effect and not content creation , that is already done.

But people around here are great at suggesting software and discussing some latest subject.
To be frank i think i asked at the wrong forum, but i am not disappointed.

53
Guess i'll post in some other forum.  :(

Hello friends,
last time i asked how i could loop a music to extend it for a long time. That is solved, this time i want some suggestion on how can i achieve something like this, please download the attachment, its a video , before the presenter starts discussing some topic on some subject this kind of video happens before he speaks or after.
I do not want that same kind of effect, but rather much, much simple than that.
I want something simple inserted in my presentation to make it much more convincing, influential and factual.

Hope you understood it, i don't think Adobe Flash Professional CS5 can achieve that. Can someone help me, some video editor.
Video download link.
Thank you.

Ps: The file is 3 mb and i have uploaded, please download from the link.

General Software Discussion / Re: extend a mp3 music!
« on: October 09, 2014, 12:41 AM »
Using the "ReplayGain" function of the .mp3 format, you can do a lossless reduction of gain, that is, if your presentation software supports the ReplayGain function.  It's just a tag in the mp3 header, so any mp3 tag editor that supports the ReplayGain field will do:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ReplayGain

Mp3Gain can apply the same sort volume normalization via psychoacoustic analysis that the ReplayGain function does, and does a handy job of it, whether on Windows, Mac or Linux.  The only caveat is that it manipulates the file directly, so it's technically not lossless though it is reversible:
i was able to achieve both the extension of 17 sec sound to 3 min and reduction of the volume by Envelop tool and i got the desired results.
For a simple and free tool like Audacity,it does more than those expensive application. Although not underestimating them, but sometimes some
good things come for free.
I got what i wanted for free. Anyways thank you all for your reply, i got some insight in this matter and will help other when the need arises.

My software does it (mostly). Send me the file and I'll get it back to you looped for 3 min exactlly.

What you're asking for can only be done in looping software or a DAW.

Some good examples of software that is well suited are:
For the volume reduction, that's a bad question. You need to know where it will be mixed, and the best thing to do is to mix it in there with the volume reduced.
Thank you Renegade for extending your hand.
But i already looped the music and converted the music to wav and further converted it to mp3 by using iWisoft Free Video Converter.
The only thing remaining is to lower the volume of the music.

@tomos : Thank you for the link, i am checking on it.

Here is the music:

General Software Discussion / extend a mp3 music!
« on: October 02, 2014, 10:09 AM »
Hello! i have a 17 sec mp3 file, that i want to insert into a slideshow presnetation , which is 3 min's long.
Is there any application, that can make a 17 sec music last till 3 min.
What i mean is repeat that same music over and over again like a loop for 3 min. Also can i remake the entire music with the volume slightly reduced.
Few programs come to my mind and one is Audacity.
Hope it is understandable.

58
Actually all those software are pretty useless, i h' been there done that.
I don't see any reason to replace the default Windows copy/paste feature.
Works well without third party software.

59
Try TeraCopy its a freeware, download from here.

Edit: Link removed.

Those kind of software are useless. Tried it , didn't at all find it practical, just consumes memory for sitting in the notiification bar.

General Software Discussion / Re: Send email from cmdline !
« on: May 16, 2014, 01:29 AM »
To send a text file named "mymessage.txt" as the body of the message to [email protected], you'd do something like this:
blat.exe mymessage.txt -to [email protected] -from [email protected] -subject "This is an email" -server smtp-server.location.rr.com -u [email protected] -pw hulkbusterpassword -debug
The -u and -pw options might be needed for authentication; your ISP would want to make sure you have an account. The -debug option should show you the conversation between Blat and your ISP, which can be extremely useful for troubleshooting. I just used the Roadrunner server name pattern for this example.

Is this process of correct first to install:
Blat -install <server addr> <sender's addr> [<try>[<port>[<profile>]]]
Blat -install smtp.gmail.com [email protected] 2 587 hulk

Sending an email:

Blat -install <server addr> <sender's addr> [<try>[<port>[<profile>]]]
blat.exe mymessage.txt -to [email protected] -from [email protected] -subject "This is an email" -server smtp-server.location.rr.com -u [email protected] -pw hulkbusterpassword -debug
or
blat.exe c:\a.txt -to [email protected] -from [email protected] -subject "This is an email" -server smtp-server.location.rr.com -u [email protected] -pw hulkbusterpassword -debug

Hello so their were two versions of this program i.e.,
1:SendEmail TLS supported
2:SendEmail No TLS support

For TLS support the command i gave was:
SendEmail -f [email protected] -t [email protected] -s smtp.gmail.com:587 -xu [email protected] -xp xxxxx -u "Hello their" -m "How are you." -o tls=yes
The error message i got was " SMTP-AUTH: Authentication to smtp.gmail.com:587 failed. "

For No TLS support :
SendEmail -f [email protected] -t [email protected] -s smtp.gmail.com:587 -xu [email protected] -xp xxxxx -u "Hello their" -m "Hello there." -o tls=no
The error message i got was" Authentication not supported by the remote SMTP server!
Must issue a STARTTLS command first. gn3sm4344660pbc.32 - gsmtp"

I don't understand what i am doing wrong.
Has anyone tried it, it would prove really useful to have a command based email support.

Another cli client
http://www.codeproje...-using-GMail-Account
This was really confusing , there is no sendmail.exe file that could relay the commands:
mailsend.exe -to %1 -from %2 -sub "test from windows" -starttls -port 587 -auth -smtp smtp.gmail.com -user "%2" -pass %SMTP_USER_PASS% -M "hello one liner" -log "c:\Users\mqt\Downloads\m.log"
Sorry i had downloaded the unix version, but after using the windows version as well, it doens't work.

Blat really was tricky, having one to install all the profile and still not able to work with the commands.
Any suggestion would be great.

Thank you.

For the first link: An Email Program for Sending SMTP Mail from a Command Line An Email Program for Sending SMTP Mail from a Command Line
The commands were:

SendEmail -f [email protected] -t [email protected] -s "SERVER[:PORT] (If using gmail, -s smtp.gmail.com:587)" -xu "[email protected]" -xp "password" -u "Hello their" -m "How are you."

This is how it would look:
SendEmail -f [email protected] -t [email protected] -s smtp.gmail.com:587 -xu [email protected] -xp xxxxx -u "Hello their" -m "How are you."

But i am getting an error
Authentication not supported by the remote SMTP server!

Must issue a STARTTLS command first. o7sm20727708eew.25 - gsmtp
Checking more on Blat.

This might be more interesting: http://caspian.dotco.../Software/SendEmail/

Basic use would be:
sendEmail -f <your email address> -t <receiver mail adress(es)> -u <preferred subject> -m <message you want to send> -s <name or IP from your mail server(: optional port)>

or if this is more clear:
sendEmail -f [email protected] -t [email protected] -u "My first message" -m "Hello world" -s internal.mail.server

There are lots more options, the included help is quite clear.

No mate , its not working. I follow ur cmdline. I want to mail using my gmail account to a yahoo account.
The homepage doesn't provide enough material to comprehend.

Hello, i didn't want to start a thread, i just want some info on Total Commander.
I am giving it a shot. It all feels good and ok.
I am not getting a hands on its Multi-renaming tool (Usually opens after Ctrl + M).
Before i used to use Bulk-Renamer, which does a very good job.
Thought of using TC, default Renaming tool.

I followed some tips from here Rename with Total Commander., but i am not getting a hang of this tip.

General Software Discussion / Re: Do i perform L.L.F. ?
« on: January 11, 2014, 10:28 PM »
Thank you all for replying to this post , i learnt few critical things about HDD with sector error. Most suggested with a replacement, i guess i'll nuke the disk and then see how it goes. If doing that makes the HDD unobtrusive in functionality, then its all good, if not then i would revert to replacement with another Disk. Its not too easy in the pocket from where i come from.
Thank you all for your suggestion, i needed that. Please do so, it saved hundred of hours loathing over this problem.

General Software Discussion / Do i perform L.L.F. ?
« on: January 11, 2014, 06:48 AM »
Hello, i have some problem with my PC's H.D.D, i had 3/4 sector errors because one of my friend used some Defrag tool to Defragment the Disc, so on the process he did something wrong, which showed some sector error.
I am using Drevitalize 2.4.2 to remove the sector errors , which it did, and over time, the sector kept popping, to 6/8/12 sector errors.
So, i am in a loop, my P.c is only a year old, and it used to perform nicely, but this H.D.D problem is being noticebly dominant. Like slow access to any partition, and it takes a little time to respond, if i click to any partition.
So i plan to perform a Low Level Format, i heard cases where everything failed regarding removing the sector error, L.L.F. excel , since it is only writing 0's and 1's, i don't know if i.m. right.
Cam someone suggest any thing better or avoid L.L.F. I am in a limbo, no way out.

Any suggestion is welcomed

^glad you like Qdir - possibly it's not listed here because it uses Windows Explorer.

I used Directory Opus for few months, didn't like the way other properties of a single shortcut or file got slowed down (while closing).
-
dont know what that's about - it's not a method I use to open properties (Alt+double-click) but I tried it and it works absolutely fine here (Win7 X64). Does that even have to do with Dopus? (I mean: did the problem go away after Dopus uninstall?)
Yes the problem vanished after uninstalling Dopus, a 64 bit machine would perform quicker and faster in those Dept. For a 32 bit i'll stick with plain and simple Q-Dir, yeah it doesn't have those bells and whistles, but i prefer functionality, than those high end complicated and also functional Dopus. I'll will stick with Dopus if i had a 64 bit pc.

I used Directory Opus for few months, didn't like the way other properties of a single shortcut or file got slowed down (while closing) , Total Commander : never could get the hang of this tool.
Open Dopus, and click the Alt+double click on any shortcut link in the desktop, after the popup close the properties window box. Notice how slowly it closes. [Whats that]
But now i am happily using Q-Dir, which is a surprise, its not mentioned in the Poll.
Download Q-Dir here: Its free.

Been using AllMyNote 2.67, and it does what i had and more.
Imagination is the limit. Never had heard the word Note Zilla.

The base principle is little different then Shadow Defender, i heard about Sandboxie, 3/4 years back, i still dont understand, why Shadow Defender is not in everyone's kit. :o
