Generally, when the site goes down like that, it's cause mouser has pressed the wrong button on something ;)

Thanks mouser, hope your new life is happy and fun

Hope everybody is feeling ok  :-*

True, it is an aspiration and I believe a cut down version is ok, syncing events for example with note taking. For example Resources personally I wouldn't even want an online/sync/cloud anything for it. It is arguable that Messages and Vault can be handled better with a standalone for a smartphone.

DoogiePIM will have an Android client at some stage, it has been promised by the developer

1809 done today on one laptop, so far no issues, fingers crossed

Faststone is faster workflow for me, for example adding text or text bubbles. XnView is something I use less often these days when there is Paint.net for most editing like lasso or similar features and Faststone for things like text as mentioned and image viewing, cropping, resizing. I never understood Irfanview, and this sounds like a very noob thing (I am talking about default behaviour right after install) but the navigation tree to go to a folder and show thumbnails within a folder  ....is not right there in Irfanview when the program opens (press T to bring it up?), I don't understand why that is the case for an image viewer.

83
I find GIMP extremely over rated, if it wasn't free it would surely be rated much lower. Minus collages which I would say is a more particular 'niche' task a combination of Paint.net, Xnview and Faststone has served me well. Photoscape does a few things well too.

If you are a gmail user and received it marked as spam, be sure to mark it as NOT spam.. maybe if enough do that, gmail will change the way it's classified in the future.

Did that, good to see others are not experiencing same

Gmail marking it as spam

It's very unlikely you will find what you are asking in your last sentence, unless you are talking about mirroring the smartphone screen onto a PC , because otherwise smartphone permissions don't really work that way.

I - jokingly - meant gif or blinking thread titles, to indicate likes

90
So next step is when a post gets likes the thread title on the post list page is animated somehow  ;D

91
On that topic almost, the new gmail web interface is so bad I will have to move to something else to receive and view* email, it is amazing that I have to be saying this in 2018....

*It's not just the looks of the new gmail but the way message counts are 'outdated' as if they are cached, etc

Keybase takes up a drive letter because it acts as a drive much like software like Truecrypt does when loading your encrypted files/folders

Depends on what you mean by private, if you want to restrict access through a browser it is best to go with tried and truue htpasswd (obviously if server is running apache). That protects access through a browser but not if someone accesses the site or database through a server opening, unplugged security issue. Unless you control your own server (dedicated server for example) that is very much a host quality question as to whether a server is up to date with security advisories and reports.

About RightNote et al, that is I am sure a preference issue and uploading it can may be automated depending on the software used.
