Thanks so much!  Great software, by the way.  I use many of Mouser's software and don't know what I would do without them.  I believe they actually give me a competitive advantage (speed, ease of doing things, etc.).

Hi - I did a quick search but couldn't find this exact question.  I apologize if it is here and a repeat.

Is there any way to automatically save to a file AND copy to the clipboard with the same hotkey i.e. not switch to the preferences and toggle these options and then redo the screenshot?  Much of the time I use the screenshots immediately, but sometimes I want to have it in a file.  Switching modes is a little cumbersome.  Any way to set to both or toggle quickly between these options?

Sorting would be an improvement and would get part of the way.  Looking at my search words and then replacement text, most of them are similar to each other, but some of them are completely different.  In the end, up to you how much time vs value it's worth.  FARR is still my #1 general tool.

I use the Quick Search Words functionality extensively and therefore my list of shortcuts is long.  When I have to edit an existing item, sometimes it's hard to find by eye scanning down the list.  It would be great to hit the Ctrl + F key and be able to search the list for a keyword.  If this exists with some other shortcut, sorry & let me know the shortcut.

Clipboard Help+Spell / Re: Any way to make CHS hotkeys like ClipJump?
« on: December 12, 2017, 07:03 PM »
Sorry if I was unclear Mouser.  I'm honored to get a response from you.

The idea with both of the features is that you don't have to move your fingers off (or far off) of the normal windows paste keys to perform actions.

Feature 1:
Press Ctrl + V and then release V to enter Paste Mode.  This will past your 1st clip if you release Ctrl + V like the normal clipboard but if you hold down the Ctrl + repeatedly press V, you move through your clips in the order they are in the stack.  This would be equivalent to pressing 1, 2, 3, etc. in CHS, but you just press V repeatedly to advance.  Then you can tap the C key while holding Ctrl to move backwards through the clip stack.

Feature 2:
Paste formats (UPPERCASE, SentenceCase, etc.) are also activated in Paste Mode, but by using the Z key as a cycler for the various formats available.  When you reach to the format of your choice, release Ctrl to paste. The clip will be pasted in the selected format.

I'll include the help site for ClipJump just in case this doesn't do it again as I don't want to waste your time.

Clipboard Help+Spell / Any way to make CHS hotkeys like ClipJump?
« on: December 12, 2017, 05:45 PM »
Mouser & all - I really love your work.  I'm an avid user of FARR - - couldn't do without it.  So powerful.

I've been using ClipJump instead of CHS for some time, because I love 2 features from it, but routinely get frustrated with some quirks it has (does not work in Excel, some of the hotkeys just don't work, etc.).   I'm wondering if CHS can be configured to do the features I love.

Feature 1:  I love moving to the next clip on the stack just by pressing the paste mode key again, without lifting my finger off the control key.
Feature 2:  I love moving through the the text formatting presets by pressing the x key with the control key down.

Any ideas on how to configure hotkeys or use a simple AHK script to mimic these actions?  May not be worth it though...

Find And Run Robot / Open website in custom browser
« on: May 01, 2017, 01:59 PM »
Sorry for posting such a stupid question.  Could not figure it out from other similar posts.

I just want to open a website using the non-default browser using an alias. I've subbed user.name for my actual user name and x'd out the actual site.  I've tried with & w/o quotation marks.  Nothing launches

Open Expense Reporting in IE | "C:\Users\User.name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories\iexplore.exe" "http://xxx.xx.com/"

Find And Run Robot / Re: Can FARR search Chrome bookmarks?
« on: August 12, 2016, 06:13 PM »
Right, even if I point farr to that directory it doesn't read them.  I don't know anything about json but if you can update farrfox to do chrome as well that would be great.

Find And Run Robot / Can FARR search Chrome bookmarks?
« on: August 12, 2016, 12:58 PM »
From my search of the question, it appears FARR cannot search Chrome bookmarks.

If I want to bookmark a site while I'm in Chrome I currently;
- copy the bookmark in Chrome
- open IE and paste the link
- make the same bookmark in IE - - then FARR can search for it

Are there any easier ways or plugins for FARR to do this?

Wow mouser thanks, it worked perfectly.  I'm a huge fan and love Find and Run Robot and CHS.  Don't know what I'd do without them.  Thanks again.

Clipboard Help+Spell / Help creating a custom script to modify format
« on: February 24, 2015, 04:51 PM »
I'd like to take a file name with "-" or "_" in between words and replace them with normal spaces.  This is caused when I download files from Share Points.  But, only after the 2nd occurrence of the string in a standard document naming convention.

Examples:
I want to change "GEN-S-01-How-to-Make-a-Custom-Script" to "GEN-S-01 How to Make a Custom Script"
I want to change "GEN-S-01_How_to_Make_a_Custom_Script" to "GEN-S-01 How to Make a Custom Script"

I'd like to just type it in the Find and Replace, Find field in the Modify Format/Case tool versus making a Custom Script Tool (which I think would be way over my head).

I tried to fool around with regular expressions, but have no experience and failed.  Thanks in advance.

Find And Run Robot / How to use and install FarSubScript
« on: April 24, 2014, 05:08 PM »
Newbie have mercy.  I love FARR.  I see that many plugins say you need to have FarSubScript and working for the plugin to work.  I have maybe 35 plugin folders inside C:\Program Files\FindAndRunRobot\Plugins but I only see about 6 of them are loaded in FARR.  I have no clue why the others aren't loading and wondering if it has something to do with FarSubScript not working.  I do have a \Plugins\FSubScript folder with files in it.   Can someone help me troubleshoot?

FARR Plugins and Aliases / Re: Google Translation Plugin
« on: March 22, 2014, 01:50 PM »
Thanks so much for the help but I think the plugin is broke.  I downloaded and installed both the CBZ's pack and FSubscript per the instructions and Google Translate still does not work and gives the same error "error: No translation found...".

I invoke by typing gt and then a word.  i.e. gt hello    I get the error message.  The plugin is in C:\Program Files (x86)\FindAndRunRobot\Plugins\Google_Translate and has the following files in the folder.  Appreciate any help.

FScript.cfi
FScript.dll
