Well done folks Apologies for my absences...been dealing with a back issue, and the damn drugs they have put me on to relax the muscles and over come the pain. Also been dealing with a problem over at Rainmeter as AccuWeather recently cut off our feed, so the world seems to be in a weather panic I will try to get the gallery up to date this weekend, if not over the next couple of days Thanks for your patients with me in this

It's possible to have "keep in memory" option to speed up transition between folders where there are many icon? Thanks
Beyond resources, and this could be an option in the settings, we have noticed that this creates for an additional issue in Vista and Seven. Sometimes what is saved in memory is not displaced when you close teh program. So anything in memory , stays in memory after the program is closed....we have seen instances of this in Standalone Stacks 2, but we have also seen issue in Rainmeter Alpha builds, so we have dropped this option. Again, this could be made an option, selective for those folks who have a tone of memory But I leave that to programmers discretion There is a couple of ways to speed Icon load: 1.) Place Icons in the core folder 2.) reduce Icon size. I find that many icons are 150 to 250 px in size, if this is reduced to say 100 or 90 px, then Circle Dock does not have to work as hard to re-size and load the icon images. Additionally: If the Icons are in the core directory, then Circle Dock does not have to search in adjacent folders in your system, and will load icons faster as a consequence.

You can take any shots you find may be appealing. Anything, appropriate, goes These are your shots I guess I could ask for general info. example: Name of programs we see Name of Desktop background if any And I will be utilizing DC Screen names for the labeling on teh donated images, unless other wise specified, as I have done in the home page gallery I have started showing Circle Dock with third party programs in them, but make it clear what the viewer is seeing. So sure, as you desire

DonationCoder.com Software / Circle Dock / Call for CD shots and Screen shots. Help me update The CD Home Page

Greetings folks I have discovered that I am lazier than I thought I will be somewhat unavailable over the next few days, I will be drugged out of my mind and in bed attempting to get beyond this damaged back muscle group, but felt that this would be an excellent opportunity to ask the community for assistance. I am looking to replace many images at the Circle Dock Home Page, and I have already added a few, but would like to include a wider diversity. Essentially: I want your screen shots of Circle Dock, and a few full desktop shots wouldn't hurt either. If you folks would be willing to post your Circle Dock screen shots, I would be greatly appreciative. What I am looking for is a diversity of sizes Backgrounds and program run settings. Not just Circles, but Ellipse too, if you have this set up. These images do not necessarily need to be a clutter free desktop, as many of us use our desktops, but can be shown over running programs as well, Like Firefox, Word, FileZilla, I do not care. I am looking for everyday screen shots, and the the clean shots as well If you are willing to share, be aware that I may utilize your volunteered shots for the Home Page, but for advertising Circle Dock as well. If you need reference, you are welcome to go over the Home Page to see what I have, and make a determination of what I need, I do know that I am sorely missing Practical applications shots (ie. Circle dock over a running program) So if you post your shots here, you are essentially agreeing to allow me to utilize the posted shots in any way I see fit, and there may be no recognition, other than what I post to the Home Page, or can squeeze a user name in on a post If you feel you have a shot that expresses exactly what Circle Dock is to you, to a business, or to a solid all around user, let me have those screen shots. The home page is here of course: http://circledock.wikidot.com/startHelp me fill in images that I am missing so I can fill the Home Page and posts to other sites with fresh, up to date, and insightful images Thanks in advance The Sarge

Oops Ooohhh boy...that is a Tutorial glitch...."ignore the man behind the curtain", and the "Space" Button Actually I was not wrong, and I did not snap to it at the time, but the bug that you pointed out is actually working....From what I can gather Logitech can only handle up to a combination of 2 hotkeys at a time, so a third modifier is not possible, so this glitch maybe a Logitech error that is allowing CD to work (???). All I can say is it works Flawlessly and with out any complications Observe

Damn...this going to be great.......I am thinking of stuff You asked for suggestions at one point, and I do not even know of the problems that would be faced in doing it, but would it be possible to create an Infinity loop??? [attach=1] As the arrows imply, this is not two circles merged, but one complete loop I can not even give you a mathematical solution for such a concept BUT!, I am also thinking that when you have this completed to a point where you are satisfied, and are willing to do a full release, I would appreciate your permission to release this companion tool to the main wikidot site as a download.....What say you? With your efforts and time, this Circle Dock companion controller deserves no less recognition.

I use the MX revolution's equivalent for the Laptop, it is just a bit smaller The following is the set up for my mouse in the Logitch Set Point tools [attach=1] Let me know if you require a complete Set Point Tutorial to set this up!?!! Combined with the following settings in Circle Dock [attach=2] This combination has worked flawlessly for me since I started it with the VX Revolution Additionally it seems to work smother, faster, and there is almost no resource spike utilizing this combination Try it and let me know...I love Circle Dock, But I also love my Mouse....I do not believe that I could give up one over the other....So I will continue to look into integration methods, and so far this one seems the most flawless. So If you have an extra button that you do not commonly use, this is a great solution Regards The Sarge
