Greetings chapmanbobby Welcome to Circle Dock and Donationcoder. It is good to have you here That video is pretty slick I am curious as to how much of Circle Dock would have to change in order to accommodate something similar. I fear there is more than what you have outlined from a coding perspective, but you are correct; this would be a Kick A$$ dock adaption(s) for Circle Dock

No problem. Also something to keep in mind is that it appears that the drivers and software are all 32bit. Though they claim this should not be an issue, it may create a few. I am do not see what issues multi-graphics cards would create, but what do I know

Circle Dock supports touch screens fully and there is a specific mode for that - "Kiosk Mode". That mode locks the Dock's configuration completely - meaning no changes, additions or deletions.
Mark
The only thing missing is the ability to make CD Spin. Albeit this is a Visual "Eye Candy" thing and not absolutely necessary, but may be a great way to bring CD fully into the touch screen arena
Currently at $205.00 USD in donations Approximately $125.00 to go minimum

The Donation pool is being made directly to my Donation account Thanks in advance

i think maybe we should try to arrange a mini-fundraiser to raise $400 so sgtevmckay and Markham (and of course Eric Wong if he shows his head) can have their own Mimo touch screens, assuming that is something you two would like to have? They are $199 each.
I was just thinking of buying one, but found at $150 -/+ on Amazon...a bit out of budget at the moment. Yes I'd enjoy having one At Amazon, best price with shipping and handling: http://www.amazon.com/UM-720S-Screen-Powered-Swivel-Display/dp/B002QFP4Z8/ref=pd_cp_e_1Also....even if Markham created the code, he has no way to Troubleshoot code, as he has no touchscreen as well I like the fundraiser idea, but you know how this makes me nervous to ask for anything Donationcoder as a community already does so much That being said; I would not say no

Ooohhh......AAAhhhhhhhh...... This is great christofarian A few things: 1.) When you get a chance, see if you can get a screen capture of the error and post it here so that we can have a better look 2.) Can you supply us with more information on this monitor???? 3.) I may have come up with an idea that covers the requests of ~~Spin by Touch~~ I will have to run this by Markham to see about the feasibility of such a concept, but may also be a joiner concept for another idea I am currently brainstorming....... Mwwwwhahahahahahahaaaaaa

Welcome back vdongen We have looked into this issue, and as Markham stated before this is a very rare issue indeed. Usually happening when Circle Dock starts. Even I get it occasionally. To correct this, simply hide and un-hide Circle Dock. Everything should come together as needed. This is not to say that the issue has been ignored, rather there is no known solution at this time, and from what we have seen there may not be one, as it may be in the way that windows is handling the graphics build. Could be wrong This has been a small end recurring problem since the original programmer. there is no evidence of program instability nor does it appear that this will cause a system slowdown or crash. Therefore this is simply a graphics bug By the way; what OS are you utilizing???? I almost want to bet money that you are on Windows Vista, or a direct update from Vista to 7 without a clean install of Windows & OS

I see no reason that it should not work properly. I do know of a couple of folks running CD on 10in Netbooks and it runs just fine I do not know for certain if CD will "Spin" on a touchscreen, but all other functionality should be in place

Greetings christofarian Glad you stopped by Circle Dock forums here at Donationcoder.com It sounds like something in the read/write to the XML is not happening. Can I get you to better describe your complete set up, CD install locations and XML file locations as well. (???) As for sounds: This sounds like it would make a great great addon for when the new SDK is released. The icons in the systems tray (the area where you have described in your post) being placed to Circle Dock is a great Idea, but as I understand it is not a do-able thing. That is not to say that someone could not program an addon to handle these items once the SDK is released
