Wired or Wireless? Personally I don't mind Wireless, but I'd never have both keyboard and mouse/trackball wireless. If both fail at the same time.. can have some problems.
I can't stand mice either where I get a choice, Trackballs all the way.

..I have a wired trackball (can't find a L handed one) always plugged in on the right just in case...

Left handed? Logitech has some wired Trackballs that have the ball in the middle (Trackman Marble).

For right handers; If you can find one, grab a Logitech Cordless TrackMan Optical trackball. I've had one since I got my computer in 2003, never once failed me. New it had a range of about 5 meters (tried it at school). It's now about 5 and a half years old and still has a decent range. Rare battery changes (less than every 2 months).
left/right buttons, forward/back buttons, horizontal scroll button, scroll up/down buttons, and if you install the Logitech MouseWare software that comes with it (although I wouldn't recommend it nowadays) you even get a Click Lock button.

General Software Discussion / Re: Online Multi Anti Virus Scanners?.

IMO the chances of a virus scanner picking up a virus inside a split archive is slim. It'd require the virus to be small enough to be in a single part of the archive (1 file).

I'd expect very few, if any, virus scanners to pick up a partial virus; the reason behind this opinion is that they probably hard code against that sort of thing as it'd make false positives too numerous.

Of course I'm no expert, just a lowly jack-of-all-trades.

Thanks Shade
I did find Campaign Cartographer, thanks to the links provided in the posts above yours.
I didn't however think to look for a price >.>
That's...... very expensive.
(although I must admit I almost gave a "fangirl squee" when I saw some of the screenies)

Once my internet is back (3 more days and it resets! yay!) I'll be downloading demos galore.
That reminds me... I gotta go bug Mum so I can get an online bank account set up >.>
I wanna donate xD
I did look at the donation chart thingy (the scientific one) and I found it quite painful to see what I supposedly should be donating... (not enough!)
Unfortunately, considering the difference in currencies (and other things), I'll probably have to donate that much all the same. :(
