could it be my cpu? I went from a 2.4 ghz to 3.0 cpu.  All the websites that I looked at say the motherboard will support 1.4 to 2.2+

There is a system idle process that runs about 80 to 90% of my CPU almost all the time.

What's the best way to test the motherboard to check and see if it's bad?

The CPU temp is 95, so I don't think it's that.  It will run pretty good sometimes and then other times it runs slow.  Do you think that it could possibly be the harddive?  Because my harddrive seems to be humming really loud.

Thanks,

My CPU recently burnt up and I replaced it.  Since replacing my cpu, it runs at 100% almost all the time.  When I resart my computer it takes a while to load.  Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks,
