"Microsoft is readying a security update for Word that repairs this vulnerability, a company representative said in an e-mailed statement. The fix is scheduled to be released as part of the June 13 security updates, or sooner, if warranted, the representative said."
Just what more is required to make this patch warranted for release? There is an exploit, in the wild, for this vulnerability - it's release should be "warranted" immediately.

News and Reviews / Best FTP Server / glftpd and proftpd

Although I agree that Blackmoon is a good piece of software I have a couple of criticisms.
Firstly, are reviews on this site restricted to Windows applications? The origin of FTP is in *nix based systems and there are many more mature servers for this platform than for Windows. Both glftpd and proftpd are pieces of free software with all the features of Blackmoon.
The obvious thing to be said about this is that they are both harder to use than Blackmoon. I accept this, but the price offset is large and besides, Serv-U is infinitely easier to configure by people who do not know what they are doing than Blackmoon.
Other than that, good review :p

This might be very personal, but I'd really like to see reviews of .NET Framework 100% Managed Code components. These are really expensive and I certainly can't afford to buy them only to find I got the wrong one!
I'm especially interested in Networking Components and TLS/SSL components.
Maybe a category for Programming Language Components?
