I decided to go with Carol's case (thank you!) after reading about the design of the case I had originally picked out, and the comments by Deozaan. After looking at the comparison on Newegg of both the i5-3770k and i7-3770k, it's really worth the $100 to upgrade, rather than spend $300 later to upgrade, so I'll most likely do that. Right now I'm looking at putting in 16GB RAM, 2 8GB sticks, with the possibility of upgrading to 32 later. I intend to build a machine capable of running most of the games that have come out recently 2011-current: Tomb Raider, BattleField 3, Saints Row: The Third, etc. Also, I plan on using it to program in the Unity 3D engine. I think it should be sufficient for that. So, lets hear those thoughts, wraith808. I also just want to add a big thank you to everyone who has contributed so far. I've taken all of your opinions and suggestions to heart. ~Cheers

The wireless adapter supports the new IEEE 802.11ac standard. And while I don't have the home equipment, or connection for that matter, I was hoping this could be an investment that is a little future proof. I am going to be purchasing the parts shortly. I appreciate all the feed back and I would love to post pictures of the components and the building process. I appreciate the other suggestions, Carol. I've taken them into consideration, but haven't made a final decision yet. Either way, I will keep you posted. ~Cheers, Mizraim

I'm just about ready to format my C drive and see if that helps the problem. Unless there are any other suggestions, I'm out of ideas myself.
That would be just a kinda random thing to do - you have no reason to suppose it will achieve anything. Probably a complete waste of time. The only reason I thought of this was because I had tried all the setting adjustments I could think of, and all of the suggestions listed here to no avail. I thought a computer format would reset everything back to default thus eliminating the problem. Thank you all for your comments and suggestions. I don't know what changed, because I have never tampered with the keyboard settings before this issue appeared. I have gone several times to the keyboard delay/repeat settings and tampered with them after reading your suggestions, and now, quite suddenly, things are back to normal - from what I've experienced. I've only tested it out on Terraria, and general typing, and if there is a delay, it's very minute. Again, thank you for the time you've invested. ~Mizraim

After reading on a forum with a similar problem, I went to the device manager and found that there are several keyboards installed:
HID Keyboard Device - Does not require a reboot to remove Microsoft eHome MCIR 109 Keyboard - Does not require a reboot to remove Microsoft eHome MCIR Keyboard - Does not require a reboot to remove Microsoft eHome Remote Control Keyboard keys - Does not require a reboot to remove Standard PS/2 Keyboard - Requires a reboot to remove
I've removed all of these, with the exception of the Standard PS/2 Keyboard, (keep in mind I'm on a laptop with no external keyboards connected) and I've had no change.

This issue isn't just related to games. It looks like my keyboard has a delay in it. This is apparent in the keyboard test (where you can change your settings and test them out. Also in Microsoft work. I hold down the 'a' key for 5 seconds, and it continues for about 2 seconds after I release the key, but it's also slightly delayed before it begins typing. I'm completely at at loss as to why this is happening. I've tried shortening the delay to nothing and even speeding up the repeat speed, but the delay persists.

Ok, sorry for the delay. I don't get to play as much as I'd like but after doing all of your recommendations, the problem persists. I have found that this problem is not present in FFXI or D3 (but Diablo 3 is mouse clicks only). I'm just about ready to format my C drive and see if that helps the problem. Unless there are any other suggestions, I'm out of ideas myself.

Dell Studio 1735 laptop - Running Windows 7
Recently I have had problems playing games where my keys get 'stuck' but not physically. After releasing the Move Forward button for example, there is roughly a 2 second delay before my characters actually stop moving. I have checked online on several websites and most of the topics I find that are related, all point to sticky keys, which I have verified are turned off.
This has occurred over several different games, both full screen and windowed mode, using different keys, (NumPad, Arrows, WASD) and the problem persists. The laptop has been turned off and rebooted with no change. Any ideas?

Dear Coders,
I'm looking for a plugin that's compatible with WordPress that creates 3 sets of 3 words randomly, weekly on Friday's for example. After a lot of internet search, I have been unable to come up with anything. The idea is to have these words at the top of a webpage where users can go to the page and instantly see the new list of words. Nothing fancy, just 3 lists of 3 words each.
Example:
collar follow subjective
voice notifying spoil
real material right
Maybe having a setting where we can change the time or date of the next change would be nice as an extra, but we're just looking for something simple.
If you have any questions or comments, please PM or reply here.
Thanks in advance!
Mizraim

It sounds like you didn't end your turn by pressing T after moving the special unit. If that's not the case then please send me your console.log so I can look for errors. Thanks. You're right. I need to add some sort of indication of which team's turn it is. I'll add it to my to-do list. Thanks for playing. I must have missed the T key. That's what I get for using a Dvorak Keyboard layout. I'll keep testing this out and encourage others to do the same! Thanks for sharing your work with us!

Anyone else with Google wave invites, I'd sure like to join. It certainly looks interesting and from the video, I'd say it kinda reminds me of Microsoft's OneNote application. Anyway, if there is anyone out there with an invite handy, I'd sure like to join and check it out first hand. Thanks in advance.

I figured it out, thanks to the help from my brother. I was taking the IF statement out too far. In an IF, there can only be 3 parts, the STATEMENT, the TRUE and the FALSE. I was adding 4.
=IF(D2="Fire", "NW", IF(D2="Wind","SE","")) is correct, 1 2 3
=IF(D2="Fire", "NW", "", IF(D2="Wind",SE,"")) was incorrect 1 2 3 4
However, I am still unable to edit multiple cells in the same statement...
This was done from Cell F2:
=IF(D2="Fire","NW"&G2="W",IF(D2=...
Now it fills the G2 Cell with W and leaves False in F2.
Any pointers?

I've searched a few sites for help on this matter, with no luck. So I figured I'd come ask you smart folks if you know what I'm doing wrong. IF Cell D2 has the value "Fire" THEN Cell F2 receives "NW" AND Cell G2 receives "W", ELSE Put nothing in the box, shown in my code below
=if((D2="Fire"),F2="NW"&G2="W","")
However, I always get "False" Returned to the cell I put this code into.
There has to be something that I'm either missing or just doing wrong. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Having been using Office 2007 for some time; and being a Keyboard enthusiast, I usually have the ribbon minimized. There are always occasions when I do open it and use it, but for the most part, I think it uses up too much of my Widescreen. I like how they grouped things and made it, in my opinion, easier to find specific tools embedded within Office. I have been a huge fan of Microsoft Office, and this one take the cake for me.

I've found that anything that pre-searches potential site hits will slow down your browser. I've seen it with Antivirus trying to 'inform' me of potential bad sites, as this one indicates is it's function. However, if safety is your main concern, as the quoted portion by mouser states, 'the cautious user', perhaps the wait is worth it.
I've found in personal experience, the only sites I should be especially wary of, are usually associated with No CD/DVD workarounds and the such.

I've personally gone through either Newegg or Tigerdirect for all of my hardware updates. I can't say I prefer one over the other, but I have purchased more from tigerdirect. As far as the 2GB over 4GB it's my understanding that unless you are running a x64 bit system, you can't utilize anything over 2GB. I may be misinformed about that. I believe Vista had changed that too allowing 4GB to run on a Vista 32bit version, and up to 8GB or 16GB on 64bit version. I hope this information is still correct, and it helps you.
