Are you saying that this Drive music player is not showing your embedded album art? If so, you probably need to get with the developer of the Drive music player to see if they can implement your request.
When I upload a music file which has album art in it to Google drive, it does not show the album art on drive. I tried disconnecting all the apps from drive and then check but to no avail.

I actually tried this extension but for some reason, this does not work. I mean I installed this and on a webpage, when I right clicked on an image and selected the option Cloudsave > Save as > skydrive, it just says "saving" but this window remains for a long time and nothing happens. I have to cancel this window. I tried on 2 to 3 images I think it says in the notes on the extension that it isn't ready for prime time yet in regards to skydrive, i.e. minus.com works now, but Skydrive is still not ready yet, because Microsoft requires a redirect domain for a web app to use their Live connect API, but I don't have any domain right now;
Ok, thanks for the info!

Hi, I have a SkyDrive account with lots of folders & subfolders.
Is there are script/extension (preferably for Chrome) that would help me to save images directly to SkyDrive?
When we right-click on any image on any webpage, there should be a context menu option like "Save to SkyDrive" and then it should first ask me to login (one time activity) and then show me the list of root folders on my SkyDrive account where I can expand and navigate to the desired subfolder and then save the image to that folder.
Thanks

Hi,
Can I boot multiple Windows OSs directly from a live USB? Let me explain what I mean: I have Windows 8 installed on my PC. Is there a way that I can have a Win 7 & XP OS (with the data) on my USB flash drive (32GB) such that during start-up, I can plug-in the USB and boot directly from either 7 or XP? Moreover, if that is possible and when I make any changes to a file, will the changes be carried over to the USB?
Thanks

DonationCoder.com Software / Post New Requests Here / IDEA: Open Registry by selecting Registry Path

Hi,
I have often come across webpages that advise users to perform some registry operations for fixing / tweaking / etc. The steps would include something like - Open the following path in the registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion
I am sure you would agree that navigating manually through every branch in RegEdit is a pain. I am looking for a program / add-on / script / etc, which can be used in the following way:
1. Select the registry path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion
2. Right-click on the selected registry path and select a context menu option like "Go to" or "Open" --> "Registry". This would open RegEdit and all the branches in the selected path.
Would be a really helpful feature...Think about it...

Hmmm, well I think I may have to pass this off to someone else. The programming language i use is not powerful enough to be able to grab info from a page or make a thumbnail of a flash video. That is why I has said about the screen cap. Sorry, just a little more that I can do. So in your design, how exactly will the screenshot be taken? Will the program have the capability for that or will the user have to do it the old fashioned way (Print Screen). The URL and other information could be entered manually if grabbing is not supported...

In the mean time, I was checking few bookmark managers and found that some of them have the ability to grab information (Title, Description, Web page icon, etc.) from the entered URL automatically but lack in the "view" feature (We are looking for thumbnail view just like Explorer view) Basically, I look at it like this. The user first launches the program and then it prompts the user to create an initial "Collection" (just like a folder) with the ability to create sub-folders (like Images, Videos, Audio, Documents, etc.). For images, the user would first select the respective image folder and then click on some icon (maybe on toolbar) or a button like "Add bookmark". The program would then open up a window (like a wizard) where it provides the user to either (a) automatically grab the information of the page after we enter the URL or (b) manually provide information for the following fields: URL, Name, Description, screenshot of image, etc. After many such image bookmarks have been added, the user should be able to select the view as List, Detail, Thumbnail (just like explorer view). When the user double-clicks on the image, it should open the image in the web browser. For videos, the user would specify the link to the video and also the ability for the user to select the image from the webpage. For images, this does not pose any issues, but coming to online video, currently we see videos either as links (Ex: www.example.com/vid_001.wmv) or flash videos like in YouTube. If the video is a flash video, will the program be intelligent enough to take a thumbnail image of the video? The same concept can be applied to entire webpages and documents.

I am still thinking about if/how I would be able to make this app. I have been very busy with my job and the other apps I have (Color My Folder, FastUnzip Snack and others) that I have not had too much time as of yet to completely get into this.
Have you thought about it?

Any ideas from anyone? I have searched for such a program on the web but could not find any. Such a program would be the first of its kind. This could as well be a nominee for N.A.N.Y. Please drop me a message if anyone is willing to code this program for a fee? Thanks!
