1 Software / Screenshot Captor / Re: feature request for auto-screenshot on: November 21, 2014, 09:38:18 PM
this spin-off is very interesting for me
especially because i had to delete the program "screenshot maker" after several days of testing (without a reason it started to create completely black images, where cursor was the only properly captured element)
2 Software / Screenshot Captor / Re: feature request for auto-screenshot on: November 07, 2014, 03:12:14 PM
i have a proposal concerning the implementation of the feature #2:
theoretically, a simple option may be more or less sufficient - 'move each new 200 screenshots into new sub-folder'
of course, '200' should be changeable
sub-folders should be entitled either '1', '2', '3'... or (better) according to the pattern defined by a user [see 2nd part of the 1st post in this topic]

there is a small additional feature request: a possibility to save auto-screenshots into a different folder
in other words: 1 folder for screenshots made via hot-key, the other folder for auto-screenshots
3 Software / Screenshot Captor / Re: feature request for auto-screenshot on: November 03, 2014, 07:35:03 AM
sorry, that was a mistake. i had to write 5 s (or 5000 ms) instead of 5 ms
4 Software / Screenshot Captor / Re: feature request for auto-screenshot on: November 03, 2014, 07:03:16 AM
i was exploring the settings (in search of something related to auto-screenshoting) but this "auto capture timer options" part turned out to be quite anti-obvious for me so i failed to understand it at all and moved further to other options

anyway the idea of auto-capturing could be implemented in more convenient way, i think:
- there is a minor problem: rate is always not precise (i set 5 ms, the result is 5 or 6; i set 8, the result is 8 or 9...)
- stop after is limited to 99.999 (which is kind of strange and not very useful)
- constant toggling via icon (of notification area) is not convenient at all (i always hide this icon)
- seemingly a hotkey for toggling could not be set

so yes, feature #1 is already implemented but it is full of disadvantages and it is not as good as in the image that i posted earlier. and feature #2 seems to be quite important but it is absent in screenshot captor
5 Software / Screenshot Captor / feature request for auto-screenshot on: November 03, 2014, 02:12:08 AM
1) is there a possibility to add the "auto-screenshot" option?
it will allow to auto-create screenshots (silently, in the background) every "specified quantity" of seconds/minutes...

the whole idea is illustrated in this image:

2) because of possible huge quantity of images (up to 3600 per hour), this option may be implemented into screenshot captor with an additional functionality:
auto-move already created screenshots to different sub-folders, for example:

e:\screen-shots\2014.11.03 (12.01-15.00)
e:\screen-shots\2014.11.03 (15.01-18.00)
e:\screen-shots\2014.11.03 (18.01-21.00)...
6 Software / Screenshot Captor / Re: Feature Request: hide SC's tray icon on: July 19, 2011, 03:50:33 PM
thank you for responsiveness, i will wait
7 Software / Screenshot Captor / Re: Feature Request: hide SC's tray icon on: July 16, 2011, 03:43:18 PM
1) thanks for the good program

2) i don't want to use any kind of applications for arranging my tray icons anymore ('ps tray factory' is nice, but i'm trying to get rid of every not so important to me software)

3) nevertheless, i would like to ask you to implement a possibility to hide tray icon of screenshot captor

4) sorry for raising this very old thread, but its title represents exactly what i need, so i decided not to create a similar one

ha14, thanks for the reply
i've reviewed your list (with the exception of disk-pulse - couldn't find any actual link) and checked several more other similar programs, but, unfortunately, it turned out that all of them meet my requirements even less than "CenvoRox File Monitor"

so, i will try to get on with it anyhow (though it will be quite difficult). at the same time i hope that the solution to the issue mentioned above exists
(is there users of this application here ? am i the only one who has such a problem with it ?)
9  Main Area and Open Discussion / General Software Discussion / CenvoRox File Monitor ( on: August 18, 2010, 03:37:23 AM
i'm looking for a program that can show a detailed list of actions performed on folders and files in windows explorer (my OS - XP SP 2 Pro)

"CenvoRox File Monitor" seems more or less appropriate, but along with some not so big disadvantages it causes very strange behaviour of system:
1. i add my drives (C, F, G) as a folders to the window of this application
2. and as a result - it is no longer possible to rename ANY of the folders/files that are placed in the root of C, F or G (while CenvoRox is active). XP indicates that an object cannot be renamed because it is busy with another application. at the same time moving and deleting is possible as usual

i would like to ask, maybe, somebody knows what to do with this bug, and, possibly, there's a better alternative. i checked several more rather like programs, for example, Moo0 File Monitor (1.02) (Portable) and Process Monitor (2.91), but they suited me even less than CenvoRox
