I am a site donor during donation week/month/ whatever it is. I am a coder donor if I buy a specific. I am a donor to whatever I feel I am donating to and trying to hack it up takes away my feeling that I am doing the most good in a specific area. I do not require a cup or anything. Of course I am not too heavy in the pocket so that is why I feel good about ANY donation to anything. I keep a pay pal account so that I don't need to put my CC info out there. Anyway, that's my lowly 2ยข

I shoot every living thing I can find. Also some dead things. (photography). Mainly I shoot landscapes, but occasionally I surprise me with portraits. Lots of opportunity in this Wild, Wonderful West Virginia place. I'd like Darwin to come visit when he's at Critical Mass stage. Our closet needs some SERIOUS attention.

I only now saw this. I want to say that I subscribe to ConsumerAffairs.Com. The first thing at the top of their page says: To cancel your subscription, please use this link. You don't have to hunt to find out HOW do I cancel. They list recalls, which companies are in bed with people in power, scams, health, etc. It's not all positive nor negative and it is very informative. If you ever wondered what's going on that is not on the news, this is a nice little ezine to read. It also lists recalls about everything I can think of.

I signed up yesterday for Social Security and will be 62 in September. I do no coding unless it's in a webpage . I love this site and have donated each year I've been here so I suppose next month will be donation month? I'm in WV on the top of a mountain. I moved here because my husband is from here and I found out I had oral cancer. Oral cancer and the miners in WV have more than a nodding acquaintance, so I chose a doctor here and we moved. So far I'm doing GREAT. I expect to see GREATER At any rate, I browse a lot, rarely post and enjoy life shooting things. (pictures haha) Glad to see all of you and a big hug to Mouser. Sug

I found that the best way for ME to not format the wrong drive is to disconnect the one not being formatted . Took me twice to learn it, tho. you shouldnt have any problems using the same bay for dif drives, i do it all the time. nothing should get confused. just make sure you use whatever procedure you need to for the swapping hardware. ie: ide drives in racks need the machine to be rebooted, usb externals need you to use the windows system tray thing to disconnect hardware.
as for accidentally deleting stuff, you could give it clear long name or something. it's good you are aware of this possibility. one regularly hears stories of people formatting the wrong drive. the best cure for this is to pause before you are doing anything serious and ask yourself, am i sure this is the right drive i am about to erase..
