1 Software / Find And Run Robot / Re: Unicode?? on: November 22, 2008, 08:48:58 AM
Did I miss something ?   huh

When the term "UNICODE" is used - do you mean entering foreign language characters into the FARR search field ?
I ask because - I do it in the present - and it works
So I must be missing something here.

I will appreciate some clarification for my own education  smiley

2 Software / FARR Plugins and Aliases / Re: Post your FARR v2 Plugin Idea Requests Here - Plugin Writers Read In on: July 27, 2008, 12:22:53 PM
Something I tried to do by myself - but seems to have too little knowledge:
Notes outliner (or notes manager).

There are lots of this kind (see http://www.outlinersoftwa...t/807/0/list-of-outliners for example).

Still, they are mostly a huge pile of tree structure, difficult to manage. It hit my mind that maybe the keyword navigation on FARR can do better.

I personally tried to embed an IE based HTML editor (there are many free ones on the WEB) in the "igo" window. I even managed to be able to save the file, but to load it is another thing (from FARR command line). Seems that any real programmer can do better than me.

It is an idea, I wonder if doable at all. tellme

May I suggest a plug-in to embed GUI's in the new graphical view called
: "UserWindowMode", for advanced user interface.
( I've seen it here :

Talking about timer (just peeped into it) :
Why can't I make an ALIAS like " tm in 60 tada " , work (I doesn't create a timer)

I liked

Sounds very innovative.

I thing it is a good place to put quick GUI's (FARR config is one of them, as was mentioned) and enable plug-ins to be more user friendly.

Maybe the next step is a GUI generator ?
(like in AutoHotKey)

8 Software / Find And Run Robot / Re: Latest FARR Release v2.107.04 beta - Sep 23, 2012 on: July 02, 2008, 11:23:33 AM

2- Maybe that has been mentioned before : farr finds but cannot launch a file if it has a space as the last character of its name
(e.g. : E:\Doct\xLC-.Moreno,Jacob L.__Théâtre de la spontanéité__+tgsPat tgsPthée+ .doc)

3- There still seems to be a problem with certain characters and folder names. I'm not 100% sure, but it seems to be related to the "É" character (only?). i.e. : each time one my folder names uses the É character, farr won't display the subfolders and files it contains. (see attachment in previous post) (see attachment in previous post)And here are 2 extra ideas for the future :

Seems that the space character inside URL links still haunts FARR.
Pity (although can be bypassed by copying tothe WIN+R command line)
