Screenshot Captor / How does the menu: "Expand Canvas to Fit Objects" work?

I've got an arrow object added in the screenshot, and the comments text was beyond the orginal screenshot region.
When saved, the region out of the canvas was not included.
I think the "Expand Canvas to Fit Objects" menu was to fix this.
But it didn't work, nothing changed.
Anyone got idea on this?
How to use the menu?
