Living Room / Re: Where have all the trackballs gone!

FYI - I broke my collarbone this spring and had to change my mousing habits - ended up buying a Kensington Expert Mouse - I had been avoiding this model because they had not updated their software in awhile but recently they've updated it and it now runs on Windows 7 and allows you to edit all the buttons.

The new Logitech does look nice :)

Find And Run Robot / Feature request for thumb drive use
« on: December 05, 2007, 08:51 AM »
I'm using FARR on a USB drive along with PortableApps  (http://portableapps.com/).  FARR works great - just one MINOR thing which bugs me.  PortableApps looks for EXEs in the directory which it then displays in it's menu and for FARR it finds the main executable as well as the quickdoclauncher.exe.  I was curious if that could be moved to maybe the /helpers dir?

Thanks!

Find And Run Robot / www alias broken?
« on: July 06, 2007, 07:48 AM »
Just getting started but in the latest release (2.00.124) the 'www' alias seems to be broken?  I type 'www' and then something else -  'www google.com' and nothing happens?

The other aliases I've tried all seem to work - and they all rock!

My regex sucks so I'm not sure what's going on?  Anyone have a working www alias or something similar to kick off Firefox?

Thanks!

Find And Run Robot / [bug report] dot in directory name
« on: July 06, 2007, 07:05 AM »
I hope I'm doing this correctly - just downloaded and installed the latest v2 beta(?) and am learning my way around.

Found a bug I think - I have several directories with a dot in them:

c:\eclipse3.2
c:\eclipse3.3

And I noticed when I browsed these through FARR - the directory name was truncated at the dot - ie:

1 - c:\eclipse3
2 - c:\eclipse3

Thanks!
Jim
