LaunchBar Commander / What's great about competition...
« on: December 11, 2007, 12:01 AM »
...is the fact that sometimes they offer great ideas to transform one of the greatest piece of software into ______________ (I'm already out of word!) piece of software.

Take a look at this page http://www.uinterface.com/mouselaunch/manual/brief.html?src=ml and imagine being able to launch LBC the same way!

It would be simply fantastic. LBC stays hidden in the tray and by holding down both mouse button (or any other configuration?) you can access your whole setup within LBC. No keyboard shortcut just mouse(r) stuff. No 48 shortcuts limitation but my own LBC configuration under my fingers.

As you can see, I'm a great fan of the Launch Bar Commander. I've been playing with computer for the last 10 years or so and, with a dual monitor setup, LBC is the greatest thing that have happen to me. This pair gives you the opportunity to get the best of your machine, no matter what you're doing.

LaunchBar Commander / Out of system resources
« on: May 20, 2007, 10:10 PM »
Hi everybody,

Is there anyone of you who ever get this message on LBC startup, "Out of system resources" on a 4 Gb ram machine with 1.3 Tb of hard disk space?

I press OK and... that's all, no LBC, nothing.

How can I live without my launch bar commander? Where are all my programs now !     ;D

Thanks in advance.

Wow! That's a great tool that I'm starting to use right NOW!

I can figure how much time I spend working on my girlfriend Web Site and then deal these precious minutes (hours!) for some AirLoose !  :o)

Keep up this great application.

BTW, could we, in a future version, access the settings directly from the WorkCoach window, it's a bit annoying to go back to the tray for fixing some new tasks.

Thanks and congratulations!

I really like your LaunchBar Commander, it's powerful and I can configure it the way I want my setup to be.

Just being able to have two icons (or even more) in the tray, one for the games and one for the applications, drop down menus and menus inside menu inside menus, that's really great.

As a matter of fact, I'm questioning myself if I really need the feature I used to like so much about ExeGo, the keyboard shortcut.

I still hate docking bars (for me, the less stuff on the desktop is the best) but I really like the look and functionality of the tray icons.

Most of all, I must say that I'm very impressed by the way you're taking care of your user. I've been coached, supported and all of my questions answered in lesser time than I took to write them.

I realize that you're taking very seriously suggestions from your user and that's quite amazing.

I'm very impressed and my donation is probably one of the best investment I made in my computer history.

Thanks again and keep up this great work.

LaunchBar Commander / Re: ExeGo comparison

Hi Mouser,

I'm running version 1.60.06

The icon doesn't show in the left pane and I tried using different icons and there's no difference.

I don't think I can send you my file, it's over 20 Meg in size!

Finally I tried the tree consistency and it's validated succesfully (955 nodes)!

Thanks again

François
