Errm, weird.  I tried the link from my previous post and it went straight to the freehostia main page.  Browsed to "http://richie5um.fre...hostia.com/Downloads", and it worked, and from there I could download the ZIP.  I then tried the link in my previous post and it worked fine.  Odd.

I've uploaded it to SkyDrive as well:

I've got a tool that I wrote to handle this for me, you can download a copy here:

Let me know if you like it.  You can find my email in the about box ( from the tray icon ).

You can show/hide the desktop icons by:
* LeftClicking on the TrayIcon
* RightClicking on the TrayIcon and selecting the Hide/Show Desktop Icons menu item
* Pressing CTRL+1
