By the way, is Paste Text Like abandoned for good?
No. None of my pet apps are abandoned. They are like my children.
Only problem is that the father is heavily under pressure of bread and butter jobs.

The one NANY 2020 I am working is not getting full times as desired, due to my work pressure. I still have hope that Almighty will give me free time from all these "must-do" works.

Regards,

Anand

@anandcoral, I know it's a long shot because you probably still don't have much time but what would make your eight year old child PTL easier for me is if I could trigger the popup window by being able to select it from the system try icon instead of hot keys.

@mouser -- control key does it -- thank you! I couldn't find where this was explained in the Help section or by searching the forum.

@tomos -- thanks for the tip about Skrommel's DragLock -- I'll keep it in mind. I see it was inspired by a suggestion from you and enjoyed reading the discussion post you linked to. :D

Or any other modifier key to allow drawing a straight line.
The SHIFT key would be my preference, however, since it has become a quasi-standard for keeping drawing tools restrained (perfect squares instead of rectangles, circles instead of ovals, horizontal/vertical instead of wobbly lines)

This would turn the paintbrush into a great highlighter-pen.

Was this ever implemented, perhaps instead of using SHIFT? Currently I have to save the screenshot in Screenshot Captor then open it in an external drawing program.

Thanks, hamradio! That's a workaround I can use. Sorry for the delay in expressing my appreciation.
