Carl Stone here from South Roxana, IL.
I have a background in industry as a CAD Drafter, Designer, Machinist, and Fabricator.
And I'm interested in getting into blacksmithing as an Artisan Blacksmith and Knife Maker.
Due to all the recent exportation of American Jobs I am kind of semi-retired at the moment.
My past employers and my shrink seem to think I need my own small shop instead of looking
for my next industry layoff in the job market, and I agree wholeheartedly.  The problem is
that banks and lenders are not lending for new business start-ups of any kind, and besides
it makes no sense for me to go into debt up to my ears before I even get my shop outfitted
and start making things to sell.  So at the advice of a few investment / hedge fund managers
I've put together an online fundraising campaign on GoFundMe.com

There's no pressure to contribute if you can't or choose not to at this time.
But one way or another no matter how long it takes me to raise the needed
funds to outfit my small artisan machine and fabrication shop, it's going to happen.
After nearly 20 years of industrial work experience in other shops, outfitting my
own small shop and business is the next natural progression for a technical career
such as mine.  In 2006, during yet another industry layoff I was informed that I
had achieved a higher level of formal education and industrial work experience
than that once possessed by the late inventor Thomas Alva Edison at the height
of his career while working with Nikola Tesla at General Electric.

Long story short......I need my own shop to do my own thing moving forward.
They pointed out to me, that neither Edison or Henry Ford either one had the
internet or CNC state of the art machine shop equipment at their disposal back
in their day....yet they accomplished more than most people today with all of
this technology and technological advancements at their disposal.

Things that make you go......"Hmm".

Luckily they have a few apps for that.....well sort of.
On the app store they have an app called "Ask the Ball".
It's a crystal ball app for your smart phone or tablet that
is surprisingly entertaining and addictive.   :)

Also they have other apps for tarot card spreads.

And last but not least.....I have a more direct method
that has nothing to do with apps, devices, or computers.
Get out of your chair and balance on the balls of your feet.
Clear your mind, then ask a yes or no question with the
utmost sincerity while balancing on the balls of your feet.
If you begin to lean forward.....the answer is yes.
If you begin to lean backward....the answer is no.

Though this method seems incredibly simple on the surface
it is only scratching the surface of a much broader subject.
Metaphysics and the possible existence of Real Magic.

I'm still learning the finer points of Dowsing and various
other aspects of Metaphysics, but I was surprised that I
could develop the ability to detect raw placer Gold with
a simple set of Copper Dowsing Rods as well as other
ferrous and nonferrous metals much like a metal detector.
Only, without a metal detector.   8)

I haven't used this new talent to build a fortune yet.
Motorcycle trips out west to prospect for Gold are not
the way to go.....it's actually bad for the back. And
sleeping on the ground is kind of rough after a week.
I'm going to need a motorhome that will provide a
roof over my head and a bed to sleep in at night.

So you might say I have some financial ground to
cover before I try doing that again any time soon.
