My wife and I are going to be using our own version of this chore card system in order to make sure we aren't overlooking what needs to be done when it needs to be done. Thanks a lot for the tip on the chore cards, I'll let everyone know how ours goes when we finish making and implementing it.

So far, it's going to be very different than what we've seen on the internet. The big difference is it's going to geared towards adults, so having individual assignments wont be necessary. The primary goal and focus will be simply to know when someone has and hasn't completed something so that we can keep on top of things without constantly consulting one another on what we've already done and discussing what needs to be done.

Living Room / Re: The end of the line for cursive writing

i hate cursive hand writing and would have been my best day in school had they said they were going to give up on it.

I find cursive writing much more difficult than regular printing, maybe the issue is unique to me, but i do see very little practical application to the skill.

svc.com is another, amazon is another, overstock and buy.com aren't too bad either really.

It would be difficult to get me to go anywhere but newegg though, as newegg has the absolute best customer service and the prices and selection are good too.

Living Room / College Recommendations?
« on: May 05, 2011, 09:54 PM »
I'm going to begin college now that I'm finally poised to do so. I'd like to attend a program to get my master in Software Engineering. Unfortunately I don't have the luxury of a typical student who gets to go through life on a gravy train so I'll have to work full time while getting this degree, so I guess I'm limited to online college or a place which offers flexible scheduling.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

You forget a vital ingredient, old people or people who just dont want to have to deal with crap dont have networks :D

If your old people do, you haven't trained them right.
