Screenshot Captor / Re: Configuring Gmail in the SendTo
« on: February 25, 2009, 10:43 AM »
Ok, I've found my setup:

SC + The Bat! (it's lightweighter than Thunderbird)

Shup is really good, if only had the option to send by email, that would be the definitive all-in-one package.

And mouser, add authentication to smtp in future releases, please.. You'll do happy to many people (or at least me). :)

you could try 'gmail drive'
it's added to the system's send to menu automatically
should be able to stick it in screenshot captor somewhere....
but not in the email send to section i think

Yes, my problem is that I don't want to be limited to only one mail account. Thanks.

I'll try The Bat mail client. I just need it for send screenshots. And none of the command line apps I've tried worked for me.

Because I use gmail and prism, to use it as a desktop app. And it doesn't allow you to attach files.

Anyone knows a small email client? Reaaaally lightweight that allow you to use as default for this situation?

yes, probably for the common user Joomla is easier. But for the developer it's really annoying.
I prefer Drupal over Joomla, specially for the big developers community around, which makes everything easy. Also all the modules are free (or almost all, I don't know of commercial ones for Drupal) and well organized, not like Joomla that redirects you to the developer website (if it already exists) and luckily it will be free..

Good thing you haven't tried Joomla yet, or your post title should was "Drupal rocks!".

Clipboard Help+Spell / Re: Purging of Favorites
« on: May 28, 2008, 12:12 PM »
Yes, I've also noticed that. All my favorites are being deleted :(
It's a fail. Since I use CHS to store quick strings and/or stuff I'm coding those days. And my settings are that purge db each day, but no favorites!

Thanks mouser for review this bug

I collect samples of anything from companies.
I just call/email companies asking for a sample because I want to redistribute their products and they sent me a sample.

:)

Nice find Grorgy.
But I don't need to change other details, just DNS that don't means to stop connection and start again. Like when you just change the DNSs from the Network adapter on Windows.

I've already used network profiles apps and are great for laptops so when you frequently change locations can connect to other networks without configuring each time.

Thanks anyway :)

General Software Discussion / DNS Switching Tool for Windows?
« on: February 18, 2008, 04:17 PM »
Hi,

I'm looking for a DNS switching tool that let me configure what network connection and which DNS to use.
Because I need to switch the DNS around 3 o 4 times each day. So it would be great if I could change just the DNS with a simple click or command.

Suggestions?

Thanks

Drupal projects is awesome.. also let you keep track of releases and issues.

Only bad thing is that I've an iPhone and I can't sync with MM3, but well.. I've a clean iTunes install (no music, only music is the one I want to put in my iPhone so few albums, and delete them when I remove from phone) and it makes iTunes a little faster.

So my all-day-player is MM3 :)

Why do you use alt codes as names? just visually pleasure?

Just didn't want numbers or letters.

Ahh nerdy boy  :P

The orb is just a shortcut thats in a folder with no name by the use of alt codes to the PresStart program & the QuickLaunch is the last two icons to the right.

Why do you use alt codes as names? just visually pleasure?

It's a stupid tip, but could help some people keep their quick launch organized using folders.

Really simple.
Just go to:

C:\Documents and Settings\{USER}\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch

(replace {USER} with your Windows User)

And start creating folders and add shortcuts or programs inside.

It will look like this:

Not an IDE but I'm using EditPlus from long time ago and it's great. Kinda outdated lately but it's enough for my coding needs.

3.0 is a really amazing music player. I've switched back after using Foobar from long time.

The only reason I think it's not perfect is that it don't manage single file albums (stripped with cue sheets) by default like Foobar does.
Foobar add each cuesheet track as a separate track, which it let you edit it's tags, rating, stats, etc., search by song, and scrobble tracks of course!

It's the only missing feature I found in MM.

There's a script to read cuesheet, but sucks.

Awesome :)
Special for us that are more like web developers and it's easy to code in javascript than in C.

Thanks!
