Post New Requests Here / They Dont want you to close them: how to close related background applications.

Logitech Quickcam and I-tunes: both these applications seem impossible to end once they are running. (QuickCam icon in the bar doesn't have the function and then when trying to close in the task manager, there are at least three applications that one must find to end).

Can anyone suggest a method to kill all the related applications that don't have an obvious kill switch?
