Living Room / Re: Internet Speed Test

Speed of the internet itself is one thing, Speed of a certain website is the other thing :=) you can check the speed of your (or any) website with pingdom tools. It is a very handy tool and offers some nice features. just google it and check it out if you are interested in website speed.

Living Room / Re: Movies or films you've seen lately

I have recently seen the film "No limit" with Bradley Cooper. At the beginning I thought this is gonna be another boring comedy movie, however this movie turned out to a lot of fun. It was maybe just me that had that picture of Bradley Cooper as the "Hangover Guy" in my mind. :)

What I can recommend from my personal experience is an Open Source project called mnemosyne. You can just simply google it and download it. You will also find lots of "already made" sets in specific languages like chinese, english, spanish and so on.

For learners of Chinese I can recommend the PLECO app. This is not per se a flashcard app, it is more of a dictionary app. However you can download a flashcard extension and it is really great, offering a lot of great features. You can also handwrite characters before displaying the answers etc.
