I don't think there is, if you really don't use them all now might be a good time to uninstall.

FOR mwb1100:

I can get almost every site except Dailymotion, using download helper. Do you think I should try "VideoCacheView: "Version 2.60" for that site?

Hi mouser, I have gotten a balloon message on my pc when using process tamer.

1. Although I have set higher portieres to be forced, is the program suppose to change these automatically on start up? It doesn't seem to work if this is the case also running windows 64 bit.

2. How do I tell the program not to automatically reduce a process? It slows down my video maker program.

3. Not sure if I am configuring settings right, I go to the process list click on exe that I raised and to the next column to force priority. Is that all I have to do to change these automatically on start up? :-[

There is a program in widows I think called magnifier, it enlarges the screen. Though not sure how to find it in windows, you might want to do a search for it.

Will ask this as best a tech nob can do, certain program load up with priorities from low to real time. Is there a easy way to make a program
in task manager always load as high every time it loads at windows startup?

No problem, Ive wasted quite a few DVR's to find out I was doing something wrong. Drop a line if you need anything else.
Just in case I will leave a link to some of the vids I've edited on a French site.

I went to Oblivion TOO,  :(, felt let down, both me and my son thought it missed a lot of chances to be better. We lost interest in the last die hard movie also after the second time jumping out of a window both movies felt forced. We give a thumbs up to the latest GI Joe movie didn't try to take it's self to serious.

Saw the movie Hell on netflicks was pretty good, ending so so. Almost the same time saw a movie called Stake Land, with Kelly McGillis in it, but I didn't know it was the same chick as in Top Gun. I told my son at the time I know I've seen her before and then it just blew my mind the difference.

You might want to do a little format checking:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVD_formats
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVD-Video

I have spent money on several dvd makers, and many were no good. I have one that makes good dvd, is simple to use
I can let you know it's name if you want, but not sure if it rips and burns. But if the one above is free, just play around with it.  Most all my software is free ware, except for this. Good luck

Just a Tech Noobs opinion, I don't have a cell phone, text, tweet, facebook (maybe 1 day), but as far as the site goes. Everyone I have sent a message to has replied, and when I ask a stupid Noob question in forums someone always tries to help! NO your stupid, WHAT a DA, or the the dreaded your a NAZI stuff replies. I've been on a few that
all it is a giant click, or everyone raggs on someone.

Renegade thanks for info but the first site is the one that Hijacked all my web pages and wouldn't download anything but the infomercials on utube or dailymotion, I should have said it's name but it might work foe someone else. The second is the one I've used for years and utube bought them out and I can't seem to get it to work with either anymore! Even from utube itsself :(  But thanks again for reply.

anandcoral will check it out and see if it works for me, PS what does having a NANY badge mean? you have 2, does that mean you help Tech Noobs
like me? :P

General Software Discussion / FLV downloader needed
« on: December 08, 2012, 01:56 AM »
I been having problems downloading FLV's from Utube and dailymotion. I used the one that is now part of Utube for downloading on it's site but it doesn't seem to work anymore, same for DailyMotion. I don't want to convert, just download, tried a few So called free managers, most just hijack my home page and don't work, or just download the advertisement before the video. Any Idea? TEDD :tellme:

I also run, "SpybotS&D" it finds stuff AVG misses. Also don't like it's tea timer software. Run Iorbits AV and realtime scanner. Also Mircosofts AV Software.

Same as CURT Above, doesn't seem to load any new page when you hit Start English Version.

PC world and Cnet both gave this software pretty strong praise, I also use CC Cleaner, Spy Bot search and destroy, and Iorbit AV, all free.
