Could be - I haven't looked for another tool to do it.  I just noticed that Windows 7 stopped remembering separate positions for Explorer shortcuts with different names and wondered if LBC could help somehow.

Yeah, probably could have been a bit more clear - what I'm asking for is a way to set the window size and position for the programs launched by Command type nodes so that when you launch a program from a Command node, it opens exactly where you want it, with exactly the size you want it.

For example, lets say you have a LaunchBar Dock with a Command node to launch a shortcut to a particular website, and another one to launch a different website.  It would be cool if you could set each one to have a specific window size and position so that you could make them open side by side, or one on one monitor and the other on a different monitor.

Make sense?

While I'm at it, it would be cool if you could set the window size and position for the Command nodes so they always launch where you want them.

Thanks again for a great program!

I'd like to see you add the ability to configure the size of the "hot zone" for auto hide/slide LaunchBars.  The current size is big enough that if I have an app window with its top edge right at the very top of the screen and there is an auto hide/slide LaunchBar attached to the top of the display, I can't grab the edge of the app window to resize it because the LaunchBar pops up over it.  Same thing happens at the sides of the display of course.  And, if you made the "shine" stay the same size as the hot zone it would  be cool too.

LaunchBar Commander / Feature request: Word wrap captions
« on: January 25, 2012, 01:11 PM »
First, thanks for making LaunchBar Commander!  After Windows 7 dropped toolbars that can detach from the task bar and attach to the sides of the display, I've been trying out every replacement I can find, and LaunchBar Comamnder is the best.

Now, on to the request - I'd like to see you add the ability for captions to word wrap - I see you've provided a setting to force a line wrap at a certain character width, but that just makes it break the caption at that number of characters.  It would be much nicer for launch bars attached to the side of the monitor to word wrap like text editors and word processors do when the caption exceeds the width of the display portion of the bar (or maybe when it exceeds the number of characters in the Caption Wrap Position option).
