Developer's Corner / Can you develop FireTune Alternative?
« on: March 01, 2010, 04:59 AM »
Can you develop a software similar to FireTune?

It Tweaks Firefox according to the computer specs

It was developed by Totalidea but they discontinued it

http://www.totalidea...firetune-removed.php

You still can download it here

http://www.softpedia...Tweak/FireTune.shtml

If developed this can be the best offering of donationcoder ever

You can override the Mozilla foundation ban by not displaying the Firefox Logo

Hey

I used to use Process Lasso but I found out your software on the internet and it uses much less RAM compared with Process Lasso

Here are the list of the process I am running

System
smss.exe
csrss.exe
winlogon.exe
services.exe
lsass.exe
svchost.exe 5 of em
pfsvc.exe
agent.exe
oodag.exe
alg.exe
explorer.exe
iptray.exe
oodtray.exe
PF6.exe
ctfmon.exe
net.exe
net1.exe
firefox.exe
processtamertray.exe
processtamerconfigurator.exe

Can anyone tell me the maximum tweaked priority or explicit rule for these processes?

I am using XP SP 2 and Firefox as my main browser and use a dongle to get internet access

Very old PC with less RAM
