n2nCopy

Drop the files/folders you want to copy on the left side of the window, drop the destination folder on the right, hit copy (or move).

Double-click the window to get the options.
 (see attachment in previous post)
Thanks for suggesting the utility but it'd be good if someone here can make something with a context menu entry and little bit polished/refined interface. It'd be useful for everyone

Hi paarkhi! Great to see you.

I agree this is a useful utility idea -- there needs to be a good free tool for this.
Same here Sir, I hope everything is fine at your end. Actually I hope @Skwire finds time to do it :)

The request is to make a small utility which can gather files from multiple folders (sources) and can copy to single/multiple folder. There's a paid app for it but no freeware/Donationware and just to explain it better I'm pasting a reference of it. THE OLDER FREE VERSION OF SAME APP DOESN'T WORK ANYMORE on Windows 8.1/ Windows 10 (64bit)
http://www.conceptworld.com/Copywhiz

Copywhiz was formerly known as 'Piky Basket'.

Copywhiz enhances your file copy experience in Windows. It offers more flexibility when copying files by letting you choose which type of files to copy & which to ignore - Selective File Copy.

You will love to see how easy & fast it is to 1) pick only required files from several folders in a shot, 2) compress only selected files from multiple folders 3) collect files from multiple folders and paste at once 4) and lot more smiley.

This is very useful for sharing only particular set of files with someone, backing up only changed files, automating manual time-consuming file copying tasks etc.
People are interested in it and have made queries for it's alternative in the past on DonationCoder, Some thread links

Shell extension doesn't get registered on windows 8 consumer preview :(

That doesn't surprise me.  I have no plans to move to W8 so my support for that OS will be, "If it works, great.  If not, sorry."
Ok Thanks

Any ideas of adding folders to that list, like it should allow to select the folders also to push...?

Sir Skwire, I'm waiitng for a reply to this, it would be very kind of you if you can reply to this.

I'll add this to my ToDo.
Thank you, Hope to see this feature very soon

First of all lots of greetings to SKwire for coding this and Happy to see the active development even after the initial build release 1.5 years ago.
My request still remains that it would be very kind of you, if you can include even folders in the right click for this program
Thank you either way for creating such beautiful program which I regularly use

Really have to worry about ignorant users (will not say stupid though)

Now it doesn't matter as the decision is taken by the BOSS (Mouser), so my I keep my opinion personal
but honestly speaking if the admin wants to experiment it, then I think he should do it and as there will a choice to switch it off then the people those who don't want them to see can turn it off, I for one will want to see the ads and possibly click it as it may help in generating little revenue for DC (Although I know that's not the purpose of showing them)...

Anyhow when we have so many seniors and supporting members, where will my opinion have a value  :hanged:

14
Sorry all seniors but IMHO I think we need more coders who can code on requests because that's how I came to know about this website...

Newsletters is also a +1

Living Room / Re: Which prize would you choose?
« on: April 17, 2010, 07:57 AM »
neither, becuase I dont like free money coming in, no sweepstakes, lotteries...

Dont you think this story is too much exaggerated

I read the whole thread and I think as app said privacy is illusion, but myself I search on google outside my account (I have gmail account but never search being logged in) I dont go to Orkut, Facebook, twitter or any other social site (sorry, but I personally feel they are crap) for the forums no real email address or real name (all fake), although use google maps on my phone with GPS (I dont care if google knows where I stay becuase my gmail account is also configured on the same phone), but my bank accounts are linked to google (all my bank mails come to gmail account), dont use google labs, apps, office suite.

I know its a silly thought but I still feel I've nothing to hide.

CacheMyWork is a handy utility that enables you to reboot Windows without losing your place in your work. It builds a checklist of currently open applications, and will restart the apps you've selected the next time you logon to the computer.
Cache My Work is great for occasions when you need to unexpectedly reboot, such as on "Patch Tuesday", after installing new drivers, or when Windows runs out of Desktop Heap, Handles or GDI Objects (which happens more often than I'd like - even with the fixes described here).

If you're like me, you avoid rebooting your computer because it means you'll forget what you were working on. Every time I have to reboot because of some install/uninstall/patch, invariably I forget half of what I was working on because I don't remember all the docs and apps I have to reopen (those 5-15 minutes between "shutdown all apps" and "logged in, Windows quieted down" are huge opportunities for me to be randomized and lose my short-term memory cache).

Works Perfectly as Desired, and as usual Thank you, Now I think it has almost come to a full blown application and offers all the features which a full blown application can offer...

Really Thank you, I don't get tired requesting and you don't get tired by fulfilling it, and Thank you for the same.

Its the greatness of SKWIRE for thanking me everywhere but in reality Im thankful and grateful to him for making my life a little easier by coding this snack and helping me to organise my music

Thank you and am Grateful

'Thank you Sir, Works with Artist\Album. Can you fill out the destination directory as source directory because I want to make sub folders in the same folders. Doesn't work when you right click a folder and call Tag2Folder, and can the default action for the files be "Move the Files to the Destination" Instead of "Copy Files to the Destination"

Sorry I forgot to say all these in my previous post...
