OFF-TOPIC for anandcoral:
Try to renew the cooling /Heatsink paste. It worked for all my old Notebooks so far (I really recommend Arctic Cooling MX-2 or Arctic Silver 5).

I support this issue.
Simply tried it wit "Calc.exe" and 99999 N! on Windows 8.1 64bit.
I reduced the "Trigger High" to 20 (because Windows 8.1 tames it to 25% per Default), but the ProcessTamer did not come in Action.
I tested it with an 32-bit application (CpuEaterVs), too. Here the taming works.

ProcessTamer / Re: Does work also with Windows 8 ?
« on: August 01, 2014, 05:46 AM »
I tested it with a AMD A-5000 (quad-core) on Windows 8.1 64-bit.
It is still useful, but on my old Windows Vista Single Core it was even more useful.

The utility "CpuEaterVs" does not work, because it only uses 24% of processor.

What a fast reply (I am writing from Berlin, Germany and did your reply notify only now)  :D
Yes thank you. Thats it.
"*.doc.lnk<*.xls.lnk" did the job for MS-Word-Documents and MS-Excel-Files.
Now your software is the first one I know, it is possible to show the last opend MS-Word- and Open-Office-Documents.  :-*
Greetings,
Jesko.

Hi, thx for best launchbar on the web.
I have a special problem on Vista.
I have linked to %Recent% on "Root Folder to Display". There are Link-Files (*.lnk).
Now I tried to set the right value at line "Accept File Patterns" and made a little success with "*.doc.lnk".
But I cant separeate multiple values in this case like: *doc.lnk;*xls.lnk; *ppt.lnk
If I only use one value, than all types of this value are shown, but if I use more than one value, than no files are found.
Any idea?

Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
Jesko.
