If you have Photoshop, manual perspective correction is very easy.

1) Turn on the grid (Ctrl+') - you can customize the grid in Photoshop's preferences.
2) Make a rectangular selection around the object to correct.
3) Switch to free-transform mode (Ctrl+T).
4) Hold down Ctrl and start dragging the corner transform handles.
5) When happy with the result, press Enter.

... make a keyboard map and let you define different sounds for each key...
Map the keyboard to a selectable MIDI instrument and turn the keyboard into a drum machine (or any other instrument you choose).

That's something I'd like to see!

one more reason to ditch explorer for a 3rd party replacement.
Are we talking regular windows here, or the Windows Explorer?
The tree-view pane in Windows Explorer is spring-loaded (i.e. it automatically expands when you hold something over it).

I've also read that Microsoft cross-licensed Apple's spring-loaded folders patent back in 2002 - could it be true?

I believe this feature is (was?) available as part of Stardock's ObjectDesktop: SpringFolders

Not avaiable as a standalone, and not free  :(

I've also read Apple owns a patent on specific implementations of the spring-loaded folder.

just trying to think of a reason to use Gamma Panel...   :o
Individual RGB settings make it great for handling different color temperatures.

Personally, I use it to correct the color accuracy of my LCD screen using the contrast sliders.
I have a few settings that range from daylight use through to night use (with 50% brightness + 0.5 contrast for use with the lights out).

Maybe hotkeys to cycle frowards and backwards through the presets would work well.
