I switched from Firefox to Chrome because I hate that Adobe Flash Player.  It locks up my machine.  I cannot believe Firefox has not gone to HTML5 yet

I pay for LastPass, Office365, MediciTV, MetOnDemand and DigitalConcert Hall.

Actually these days I burn audio DVDs, not CDs.  You can put tons more music on them.  I can put long operas on them and can put more than one usually on a single DVD whereas it would usually take multiple CDs for the same piece.  INdividual songs, well I have not counted how many but it can hold a ton of them.

General Software Discussion / Re: Do you touch-type or hunt-and-peck?
« on: September 27, 2009, 04:45 PM »
It is definitely worth learning to touch type especially if one expects to do some technical work as a living.  Speed is money.  i bought a typing book, the type which was used to teach typing in high school and taught myself to do it in less than two weeks.  It was worth the effort especially when I am programming and don't want to be held back by my fingers when my mind is moving faster than they are.

Living Room / Re: ghacks examines tools to download Youtube videos

With so many sites besides Youtube displaying videos, is there a video downloader that will allow you to save any streaming video, not just Youtube videos?  I've seen some that allow other sites but not from many of the sites I'd like to download from.
You'd think there would be some generic download program that would allow you to download any streaming video regardless of what site it is on.
Thanks in advance

Why not use Paint.net.  It's free and as good as Paintshop Pro.
