Free Dock

Because it floats "freely" on the desktop, rather than being stuck on the side of the screen like most other docks

I haven't donated, but I would definitely pay for CD if it was priced reasonably.
At least if it has that launching feature I mentioned in suggestion thread.

I completely agree with being compensated for your work, and from what I've seen, CD is definitely worth something.

I'd donate now, but if you all are going to make it pay-for, I don't see much point. Especially since I'm not even using CD right now.

My suggestion, which I touched on in the Lifehacker article for Radian (and based on the same program) (Hi sgtevmckay!):

The ability to launch the program by holding the right mouse button for a second or so. In addition, it would also be nice if one could launch a link simply by releasing the button over the link.

Basically, the behavior is similar to the menu on Neverwinter Nights, which Radian has emulated fairly well, I think. I initially found CD while looking for something that emulated the NWN menu behavior. I've started using Radian, and I find it far easier to launch than CD. While CD is a more mature program, I find Radian far easier to use in spite of its lack of features, because of how I use my computer.

ooh, that does sound promising. Thanks!

Thanks, but your link is broken. Also, that doesn't really sound like what I'm looking for, if its just a startup program delayer. I'm looking for something that allows you to choose what programs start up immediately after you boot. Ie, you start up your computer, the program pops up, then you choose what programs run from a list it displays. I know I could probably achieve the same thing with a few bat files, but it would probably be a pain to set up. Thanks anyway, though.

I'm looking for a startup manager program that will allow me choose what loads when the computer starts. What I want is for the program to run first, and then ask me what programs I want to run. I would also like to be able to run the program later, and then have it start up some of the programs I didn't earlier.

It might also be nice to have user-defined selectable profiles (ie: quickload, full load, etc.)
