DcUpdater / Feature Request: Download & Install
« on: April 19, 2009, 06:00 PM »
Hello,

I typically use DC Updater to notify me, but download the installation file instead of the auto-install.

This is because I have a laptop and a desktop so I install the shared file without re-downloading.

Please could you consider a "Download & Install Option" on the DCUpdate menu?

i.e. This would first download the installation file to my chosen location (rather than a temp location) & start installing it immediately.

When I am working on the other PC at a later time, I could install the other file manually without re-downloading.

Thanks for the amazing software, as always.

DC Website Help and Extras / Suggestion - Reverse Order
« on: April 14, 2009, 04:52 PM »
Hello.

Sometimes I read the forums oldest->newest (if it is a discussion that I haven't seen before) and sometimes newest->oldest (if I just want to get a quick heads-up on a discussion that I have been following).

I know that one can set the "default order" in settings, but was wondering if there was a way to "toggle" this setting while reading a discussion? i.e. Click on a "sort order" icon or link and switch the order round just for the current discussion?

If not, would it be easy to implement or consider for a future version of the forum software?

Thanks.

Screenshot Captor / Feature Request - Open Location after Save
« on: April 08, 2009, 02:37 AM »
Hello,

Wonderful program! Feature request please:

If I capture a selected region (Shift-PrtScr), and the dialog box of options shows up, I choose "Save Image As".

I then browse to a folder (non-default) & save the image. It would great if a small "open folder" icon was  now available in the dialog box to open up the destination folder in windows explorer (or an external editor of my choice).

This would be similar to, say, after a download in firefox (open saved location)
