General Software Discussion / Copying files to a series of DVD
« on: September 07, 2008, 08:19 PM »
I want to back up a series of files to DVD. In total, there is about 20 GB of files. I want the files to be on the DVD in original format, not zipped or any other format. In the past I have just selected a group of files that would fit on a DVD and burn that, but this gets fiddly.

I have checked the forum discussion on backups but none of the programs seem to do this.

Is there a program that will allow one to select a range of files and directories, break them into DVD sized groups so that they can be burnt to DVD ( or burn directly to DVD)?

Thanks

« on: April 01, 2008, 02:15 AM »
Hi

PowerDesk Pro v7 has been released and version 6 is available for less than $10 http://www.shop.avanquest.com/usa/prod.php?pid=686&tr1=AQ_US_AF_CJ_PD6.

If  you use discount code AFFPD7 when ordering you will get a US$10 discount. Final price is $0. No credit card details are required and the license details are supplied immediately.

I do not know how long this will last.

Find And Run Robot / Function keys
« on: September 23, 2005, 12:09 AM »
Hi

I use the F keys to launch and not the digit keys. As the keyboard has 12 Function keys, why not allow all 12 F keys to work. If the use of digits is turned off, then the targets could be numbered 1 to 9 then 0,1, & 2.

This gives 3 more hot keys.

Find And Run Robot / Feature request v 2- favorite searching
« on: September 05, 2005, 04:54 AM »
This was mentioned in  an earlier wish list, but I am not sure if it is to be included  in v2.

I would like to use FRR to search my Internet Explorer favorites, with the choice of searching
1. the title,
2. the URL and
3. both the title and the URL.

I would imagine that option 2 & 3, reading the URL within the favorites, would be the slowest

I would use the third method most.

Will this be possible in version 2?

Regards

Chris
