BUMP.

i have installed the latest version (v2.37.03) and this still happens.
i get this error every time when i use "Start with Windows". does not happen when i start manually.

it could be a conflict with some other application i have that is starting with windows.

please address this problem it is REALLY annoying.

while we here - is it possible to copy/paste objects from one image to another?

Screenshot Captor / capture image from SC editor
« on: October 10, 2007, 10:51 AM »
hello, i m using v2.32.02.
this might be already possible (but i don't know how).
i m editing an image (adding object ,text etc..) and when done i want the image as a screenshot in my clipboard.

there is this option: in "Capture" menu -> "Capture Image of ScreenshotCapture Window".
but this will capture the whole SC editor - i want a screenshot of the edited image only zoomed to 100%.

to do this today i m opening the edited image in my image viewer (IrfanView) and then grabbing the image again = BLACHS.

sometimes, i don't know exactly when, i get a "access violation" error.
it happens only when SC is started with windows.

when i try to grab selected region i get this:
Access violation at address 00486DC0 in module "ScreenCaptor.exe". Read of address 00000008

than SC hangs. i need to exit and restart it.

it never happens when i start SC manually and not on windows start.

Screenshot Captor / can't grab region on secondary monitor
« on: August 21, 2007, 03:47 AM »
i use 2 monitors in my setup.
for some reason i can't grab regions in my secondary monitor.
i tried 'selected region' and 'fixed size region' but both disappear when i move my cursor to the second monitor.

i have just found SC and started using it.

must say it is a GREAT piece of software - WELL DONE

it does everything i was looking for and more, very easy, and lightweight and of course - it is FREE !!

applause!! and pat yourself on the shoulder.

keep it coming and many, many thank yous.

i kind of agree with 'danw', this feature is not so convenient.

i prefer it just open a new mail window with the image as attachment (or inside the mail) rather than let SC manage it.
i have all my addresses in Outlook address book, i want to take them from there!
i don't want to keep another address book just for SC.

so when i send it to mail i find myself right clicking on the image in the 'screenshot panel' and choosing: send to > mail recipient.

but this also have its disadvantages - it will not add my signature to the mail.
so the best option i have is to open a new mail from Outlook itself than drag the image from SC to my mail message.

it happens when i right click on the sys tray icon to activate either 'selected region' and 'fixed sized region'.
it doesn't happen when i use the hotkeys. (i know i can use them but i don't always remember them :-[ )

what is happening is that the item i selected from the menu stay on the screen, as if it didn't had enough time to disappear.

here are screenshots:
after 'fixed sized region'
after 'selected region'

hello, i m totally new to this.
it seems like an awesome piece of work - KEEP IT UP !!

DeanMarshall raised an issue i encounter too:
I am left with parts of the menu frozen on screen during the capture, and often these are in the way.

this is annoying, can it be fixed?
