@Judykator: This might help.
Set Name and other columns (e.g., the Score column per example below).

how to make column headers visible ? I can't see them. Option "Hide Coumn Headers" I have unchecked ...

edit:
I would have to use small icons? Then only the column heading is visible.

I use large icons ...

Find And Run Robot / displaying long file names
« on: August 07, 2019, 05:28 AM »
In the attachment you can see how the program displays very long file names in search results
farr name.jpg

How to set the program so that the very long file name will be displayed without collapsing in the place indicated by the right arrow?

I use v2.233.02 and 1920x1080 resolution

1. Do alias  "favorites" with triger "all"
2. run FARR with "all" in "Text for search box"

« on: September 16, 2016, 07:49 AM »
"paste date | paste %date% /ICON=icons\farr\core-misc_paste.ico"

variable %date% = system short date ??

Could be a switch on the system long date?

I would prefer to receive instead "2016-09-16" -> "16 września 2016" [english September 16, 2016]

FARR Plugins and Aliases / Re: FCalc bug
« on: December 15, 2013, 01:57 PM »
I installed the latest version FARR (2.213.01). It did not help. Error still is. The computer is 5 years old. I have Windows XP SP2 or SP3 (?)

I have a second computer. There have Windows 7. There FCal counted correctly and the crash does not appear.

1) I off FARR.
2) download the specified file
3) unpack it to FARR/Plugins/Fcal (replace old files) and run FARR
4) i have FCalc - 1.11.01 (Feb 14th, 2012) by mouser <[email protected]>
5) but nothing has changed - FARR crash after type fc 5/0, (5/0 5/0 = EStackOverflow)

In the evening, I'll try to update all the FARR. How to update the portable version to keep the settings?

Question: What do you mean program is off?

FARR is off and I have to run it again.

for me:
5/0 shows: EZeroDivide (correct)

https://dl.dropboxus...ts/FARR/fcalcbug.jpg

5/0.02 shows: 250 (correct)

I type 5/0.  -> off
I type 5/0, _> off too

« on: March 23, 2013, 03:15 PM »
This only happens sometimes. Now, for example, turned off FARR, next turned on FARR and launch history is remembered. When else clears me the all launch history. I do not know what it depends on. Mayby delete history when dont choose "Exit Find and Run Robot" ??

FARR portable directory is C:/Program Files ;)

Instead of installing just unpacked zip.

All not read-only

I not use ConfigDir.ini

ConfigDir_Default.ini

// IMPORTANT NOTE: Lines starting with // are COMMENTS; you need to remove // to make a line active

// NOTE: When the program starts, it will check for the existence of the file ConfigDir.ini,
//  if that file exists, IT will be used.  If it is not found, then program will fall back to
//  ConfigDir_Default.ini.  So if you wish to overide the default PORTABLE configuration specified
//  in ConfigDir_Default.ini just create your own ConfigDir.ini file.

PORTABLE=TRUE
CONFIGDIR = .

// CONFIGDIR = %MYDOCUMENTS%

// This file (ConfigDir.ini) defines the directory where all configuration
//  files for the program will be stored.
// There should be only 1 actual line in this file that has any meaning,
//  the CONFIGDIR assignmane above.  Everything else here is just comments.
//
// By default it is normally set to the program directory itself, meaning
//  that all configuration/ini/settings/preferences will be store here
//  with this ConfigDir.ini file.  This is also best for when you want to
//  put the program on a usb drive.
// Sometimes it is preferable to store the configuration files in a
//  different directory, like a "C:\Documents and Settings" subdirectory
//  which is designed to store program configuration data, or a custom
//  directory specified by a user on a separate drive.
//
// TIPS:
// 1. You can comment out lines by prefacing them with //
// 2. You can use the following replacements:
//     . (actual program directory -- use this for portable usb, etc.)
//     %MYDOCUMENTS% (like C:\My Documents)
//     %APPDATA% (like C:\Documents and Settings\{username}\Application Data)
//     %PROFILE% (like C:\Documents and Settings\{username})
//     %COMMONAPPDATA% (like C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data)
// 3. The specified directory will be created if it doesn't exist.
// 4. If configuration files are not found in the specified directory,
//     any existing configuration files in the app dir will be copied
//     from the app dir to the specified directory.
// 5. If you edit this file while the program is running you need to
//     exit and restart the program before it will take effect.
//
// EXAMPLES:
//    CONFIGDIR=.
//    CONFIGDIR=%MYDOCUMENTS%
//    CONFIGDIR=E:\MyCleverSettings\
//    CONFIGDIR=%APPDATA%
//
// NOTE: the company and application subdirectory name will automatically be
//  added to the path specified (except for %APPDIR% which includes the name
//  already, i.e.:
//    "E:\MyCleverSettings" -> "E:\MyCleverSettings\DonationCoder\AppName\"
//
//
// NEW:
//  You can now signify that an app should run in portable mode (no files saved to anything but app dir)
//  by specifying the uncommented line:
//   PORTABLE=TRUE
//
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

I think not. It takes some time. I usually just close the operating system without a separate closing the FARR. Every time I need to close FARR?

Find And Run Robot / Launch history not work
« on: March 23, 2013, 11:53 AM »
Launch history not work. I mean that every time I open the program list "launch history " is clean. In the settings I have set "Add launched files to launch history". It works, but only to close the computer. I use FARR version 2.200.01 portable, Windows XP

FarrMilk uses the computers locale settings to parse dates. So if your computer's locale is set to polish and "31 stycznia 2013" is how you'd write a date in Poland then what you're trying to do should work, i.e. if it doesn't work it's a bug in FarrMilk.

My locale settings is polish.

I just tried with a task having 369 characters and it displayed and worked flawlessly. Can you be more specific in where you see a problem? (maybe make a screenshot)

screenshot
Only 511 characters. Breaks in the middle of a word "przez"

all text: "Asus planuje portfolio smartfonów z systemem Windows Phone 8. Drugim, umieszczenie Windows 8 RT w smartfonie i dodanie do systemu aplikacji umożliwiających wykonywanie połączeń głosowych.

Mayby polish letters - ó, ą, ć, ś, ń generate the errors ??

Changing the date of a task does not work. Clears the date completely.

If you mean changing a task's due date: I just tried that and it worked. Can you be more specific in what you're doing exactly (an example maybe)?

OK. It all depends on how I write the date. Previously, I wrote, "31 stycznia 2013" (polish 31 January 2013). Like on RTM website. When I wrote "31-01-2013" - it works. What formats does it work?
