UrlSnooper / Re: Menu Index Out of Range

Thanks Mouser, I did something a bit different then your work-around.  I figured since the re-install keeps installing to the same area over and over, I would give a fresh look to it by installing it to a different path.  Then I went in and changed the ConfigDir file to show once more, that the Settings.ini file was in "My Documents".  Then deleted the Settings.ini file there and started up RPC server and then URLSnooper2, and this time it works fine.  I have been able to restart it without issue too.

Now, another question for you, if I may?  I'm attempting to find the IP address of a certain Radio Channel from Accuradio.  I tried using Roku Radio URL Finder, but the WinPcap for that won't work on my system.  I can pull up the station in a browser, but for some reason, can't find any IP address that even comes close.  I'm trying to find this address so I can stream the URL to a Virtual World SIM, not trying to cheat anyone, just want to listen to that Channel :)

Thanks,

Bob

***Note - I once again received the "Menu Index Out of Range" message.  This time I just deleted the Settings.ini file in the MyDocuments section, restarted URLSnooper2, and it comes back up and works again.  I probably could find a way to delete that Settings.ini file each time I exit URLSnooper2 actually, so I'll try and work on that next.

UrlSnooper / Menu Index Out of Range
« on: August 10, 2010, 10:47 AM »
Greetings, first time user here, and I have a really strange issue going on.

Yesterday I installed WinPcap 4.1.2(I think that's it), then followed that up with URLSNooper2.  After installed, I restarted my system.  Back up, I started the WinPcap Capture Server and then URLSnooper2.  URLSnooper2 did exactly what it should, found the correct Interface and I was seeing what I would expect.  I then turned off URLSnooper2 and WinPcap Capture Server.  I came back to this later in the evening, and started things exactly as before, but this time, when URLSnooper2 was looking for the Network Interface it came up saying, "Menu Index Out of Range".  I was able to end the process and then stopped the WinPcap Capture Server.

I did everything listed here, removed all instance of URLSnooper2, deleted all Folders relative to URLSnooper2.  Once everything was re-installed I changed the Settings.ini to be in the "MyDocuments" folder and made sure the Network Interface line was empty.  I then restarted the WinPcap Capture Server and then URLSnooper2 and while looking for the Network Interface, got the same error message, "Menu Index Out of Range".

My NIC's are Yukon Marvel 10/100, only ONE is plugged in and turned on.  I'm running W7 64 bit, with 12GB RAM on a i7 965 quad core CPU running 3.20hz.  I am now officially stumped as to what is going on here now and would appreciate ANY help that is offered.

Thanks,

Bob
