Yay, there is a bvckup2 coming? I used the beta of V1 1.5 years ago and was amazed of it (there were a few problems I posted about but I was able to work with it ;) ).
Now I just wanted to see if there were updates availabe or a complete "out-of-beta" release (as I searched for a good backup solution for my files again) and just found the thread for V2. Looking forward to it! :)

ah...last post is from last year....are there any news?

@apankrat: thanks for your reply :)
But it doesn´t work.

My file listing is as follows:
.bmx          <DIR>
SomeOtherDir    <DIR>
file1.bmx
file2.bmx
file3.bmx

I set the filters as you wrote but it ignores the rule for the ".bmx" folder. For now I stick with it by entering the .bmx folder into the "location" field and let it exclude *.* of the content of the dir. I then just have an empty ".bmx" dir on my backup drive.

I came across a little problem:
Some of my project folders have a directory called ".bmx". At the same time the project files (which are in the same directory like the ".bmx" subdir) do have the extension *.bmx. I only want to backup all of these bmx-files but not the ".bmx"-subfolder. How can I set up bvckup to do this?

wow, really really nice program. Testing it at the moment with some of my project files. I like to program at work and make backups of them on my web drive. So far it works great!

Find And Run Robot / Re: FARR prevents DiRT 2 from starting
« on: September 09, 2010, 04:04 AM »
I can confirm that "Dirt 2" does not start with FARR in the background. Before starting a high performance game like dirt I close all unneccessary processes via GameBooster which is able to stop processes and restart them after switching back to "normal mode". But I never thought that FARR is the program causing the crashes of "Dirt 2". After adding FARR to the list of processes to be closed for "gaming mode" all is fine.

I use WinXP Home SP3 (32 Bit)

Thanks for the new version! :)
FARR is one of the most useful programs I have ever used.
