Is there a downloading program that can scan your system (before d/l) for an existing progam to avoid creating dups..?

I need a program that would take 2 folders (say A&B) and compare everything in them...Then list what file "A" has that "B" doesn't have
and vice-verse...If all is the same just say...No Diff.???  Something like that...
