Mini-Reviews by Members / Re: AntispamSniper For The Bat!
« on: May 29, 2009, 02:46 PM »
to clarify what superboyac is saying you can change "attach" to "attachthumb" to use thumbnails -- no need to reupload any of the files, etc.

but i think the review is fine as it is -- i think screenshots help one to follow along.

I agree 100%. The screenshots I felt were necessary seeing the somewhat complexity of the product.  After reading this review i immediately purchased this for my theBat! (which I happily learned of via this awesome site) and was glad to have the easy-to-read screenshots to take me through setting it up.  I think it defintely helps people like me who are not as technical minded and visual as well.  :-)      Many thanks Innuendo!

Phitsc,

got it!  hot-digity-dog!  this plugin's awesome!
thanks!

btw, i did have ms windows search 4.0 already installed, however a few things i had to fix on my end to get full function:  had to put ms search back into the startup folder - I guess I thought it was running since it was checked as running in msconfig/services.msc (well, you know... what can I say, I'm just a user, not an expert).    :-)    Also, I had many months ago unchecked 'allow indexing' via Mycomputer>properties>C:, so re-indexed ---now instead of searching  just 1400 files, is searching "10's of thousands'.

thanks again!   :)

I hope this is the correct spot to post this question.    First, I want to thank Taichimaster for this fantastic plugin!

...And I have a quick question that I can't get figured out.   :-\

When I type in 'pkill', I get my list of processes.  However, when i go to click on any of the processe to "kill" it, I get the following error message: "access violation at address 77124DOA in module 'OLEAUT32.dll'.   Read of address 00000EF0."

Now, I am able to type in the demand manually to get the desired result, for example, "pkill aim6.exe' but not sure why I'm getting the error?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

works flawlessly here.

pretty damn amazing..
just a note for people who don't understand what this means: Windows Search *indexes* the *contents* of files.
so you can now type ws KEYWORDS and get instant live file searching of the CONTENTS of files.

wow

Mouser / Phitsc:  How to do this?  Can you give an example?  I can't get this option to work. Thanks.
