Using CapsLock and other keys to trigger FARR

Top  Previous  Next

FARR has a Hotkeys options tab that lets you configure alternate triggers that will toggle FARR and call it up with different options.

But there are some hotkeys that are unusual and may not cleanly trigger FARR in a straightforward way.

One of these special keys is the CapsLock key, which is normally a toggle key for upper and lowercase and which humans have not used

FARR has some preliminary test support for using the CapsLock key, but a better solution might be to use a free tool that will swap the CapsLock key and make it act like another key (for example the Break key that FARR uses by default).  One such free tool is SharpKeys (http://sharpkeys.codeplex.com/).
