I use a program called Regprotect that alerts me every time a new entry is made in the 'Run' keys in the registry. When a program tries to add a key to the "\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run"  or the "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run" a dialog box pops up and asks me if I want to allow the new entry to be added.

Is there a program that does this same thing, but allows a user to choose other registry keys to monitor and protect? Thanks for your help.

I noticed this one but it's new to me. Haven't heard of it before:

Thanks for the info. This app is better than I had initially wanted.
