Your goal is to guide your 'box' from start-point to end-point. The catch? You can only move in the four cardinal directions and you will only be stopped once striking an object. Don't worry, none of the other objects move or can hurt you, but that will hardly make your job any easier. As pure puzzle solving game with 30 levels, this one isn't the most innovative game you'll play this week, but it could very well be one of the most mind-bending.

Part Jackass stunt, part physics lesson, Line Rider encourages users to "draw" their own ramps, hills, and slopes with a pencil tool, then sends a virtual sledder (wearing a red scarf) along the route until he swoops, swerves and crashes. Build an elaborate enough course and you'll feel like a little kid playing in the snow again, zooming downhill, popping up in the air, wiping out on a ramp jump a la Evel Knievel.

When the timer starts, each player searches the assortment of letters for words of three letters or more (four or more on the 5x5 board). When you find a word, type it into the blank and press the ENTER key.

Words are formed from adjoining letters. Letters must join in the proper sequence to spell a word. They may join horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, to the left, right, or up-and-down. No letter cube, however, may be used more than once within a single word.

Four months was spent on this installation of the Ball Revamped series, this time with a 100 new levels, 20 power ups, 8 different obstacles, 2 bosses, level codes, and a high score list. Bringing it back to the old style of gameplay, Ball Revamped IV: Amplitude is definitely a notch above the others in the series.
